Really, this was the obvious conclusion if the last game was 12.3.

And since the original Touhou thread seems to be gone, I decided I might as well be the one to post this.

9.5 introduced some really creative danmaku, and I'm hoping this one will deliver more.

So, another shoot the bullet, this time with Orin and Byakuren?

Even as a Touhou fan, I can't say I'm excited at this. I mean, Shoot the Bullet was nice as a side development of the series, but I was hoping that the next x.5 game would be something a bit different, maybe with a different type of shmup-like system or featuring another Touhou character other than ZUN's wife.

Though as long as the lasers don't curl...
