Simply put, a PC is asking me for help with building a solid 10-level build for this class combination, and I'm in a stump on what to offer him... He wants to focus on wildshape, and feels like the rage would supplement his combat in his shifted form

Stats:
Str 18
Dex 16
Con 18
Int 14
Wis 16
Cha 10

He's also leaning towards Half-orc, but is open for suggestions if something else is better. All splatbooks are allowed, but no homebrew or dragon magazine, (no one having access to dragon magazine)

This is TOO easy, on the SRD and UA there is a druid variant (druidic avenger I believe) that trades animal companion and spontaneous SNA for fast movement and rage as a barbarian

Also half-orc is a good choice for druids if they take the Racial sub level from races of destiny

Druid Variant: Druidic Avenger
The druidic avenger channels her inner fury to wreak vengeance upon those who injure the natural world. This comes at a price, however, since the avenger must give up some of her own sensitivity to nature.
Class Skills
Add Intimidate to the avenger's list of class skills. Eliminate Diplomacy from the avenger's list of class skills.
Class Features
The druidic avenger has all the standard druid class features, except as noted below.
Animal Companion
An avenger does not gain the service of an animal companion.
Fast Movement (Ex)
A druidic avenger's base land speed is faster than the norm for her race by 10 feet. This ability is identical to the barbarian ability of the same name.
Rage (Ex)
An avenger can enter a furious rage, identical to that of a barbarian. An avenger can use this ability once per day at 1st level, and one additional time per day for every five levels above 1st.
An avenger does not gain the greater rage, indomitable will, or mighty rage abilities.
Spontaneous Casting
An avenger cannot channel stored spell energy into summoning spells.
Tireless Rage (Ex)
At 17th level and higher, an avenger no longer becomes fatigued at the end of her rage.
Wild Empathy
A druidic avenger takes a -4 penalty on wild empathy checks.

Also suggest to shift his stats a bit, put the 18 on WIS and a 16 on INT, it doesn't matter his physical attributes past level 5 since wildshape replace them.

A) It's pathfinder Druid and Barbarian

B) Gimped wildshape to only add to stats in pathfinder

BUT, we CAN use feats and prestige classes for 3.0/3.5 in pathfinder... Sorry for the confusion and all. I like the variant idea, but I was wondering if their would be any other optimizing to do, (feats, prestige class, est)

I would suggest that you refer to Treantmonk's guides, specifically Spirit of the Beast druid.

The Pathfinder Barbarian isn't that much better then the WotC Barbarian. Everything is tediously tracked in terms of rounds per day, and the Rage Powers are all fairly minor abilities which can be more efficiently reproduced with other classes or PrC. Neither has any particular synergy with Druid. So my suggestion is to just play a Pathfinder Druid, and roleplay being angry when appropriate.
