[3.5] Shadow-Flavored Weapons

Okay, so my next Dragon is going to be an intelligent Greater Shadow with class levels, TWF and Ghost-Touch weapons. I like the idea of a Ghost Touch gauntlet so he can manipulate objects, but what about the other weapon? A sword or a scythe seems kind of overused, but I'm drawing a blank on weapons that would be sick if a shadow used them...

Any suggestion, Playground?

Kusari-Gama? (one handed reach weapon in DMG, similiar to Spiked chain but 1 handed)

That might work. I seem to remember it being listed elsewhere as a Monk weapon, so that might synergize well...
