Edit the post, and select the circle that says "Delete Message". Then click the "Delete this Message" button.

You shouldn't need to scroll down to find any of those things.

If it is the first post in a thread, however, you can't delete it. So just ask a mod to lock it, or wait until it falls off the front page.
