I'm working on a new race right now for a campaign I'm working on.
Essentially, halflings and humans live together rather well...
What's a halfling/human baby?
The Three-Quarterling!

I'm starting kind of with the Half-Elf and working from there, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen/made anything along these lines.
I'm not looking to plagiarize you wholesale, I'm just going for your take on things.

Thanks Playground!

I think the word you're looking for is "dwarf". :smallwink:

Is this 3rd edition? Cause then the answer is 'creepy'.

Edit: Ah, 4E, less creepy. Hrm.

+2 Dex, Choice of Con or Cha.

Bonus to Acrobatics and Athletics
Medium Sized
+1 Reflex or Will
Give them something like Hobgoblin Resilience but call it 'Unshakeable' (human hardiness + halfling fearlessness).

Wouldn't it actually be a quarterling? Like, just one quarter?

Why are there half elfs and half orcs but no orc elf combination!!

Seems humans are actually descended from dragons, and can mate with pretty much anything :smallwink:

For the stats I would probably echo what Asbestos said.

This reminds me of what one of my ex's used to call one of our friends because he was short.

Berps: Warhamster (using the BEER system) had rules for Quarterlings. It described them as "half-halflings, or munchkins". Appropriately, they have bonuses to all stats except for the equivalent of charisma.

What do you get when you cross an elf and an orc?

Don't know.

There are some things an orc just won't do.

Remember kids, elves cause cancer.

Because elves are more picky than humans.

Also, aren't halflings already "three-quarterlings" in 4e? :smallwink:

Nah, they've just been working on their posture. It's amazing the difference that not slouching makes, isn't it?

It'd actually be a quarterling, since it's only a quarter ling, but three-quarters human. :smalltongue:

I'm pretty sure that would give them a large damage aura racial, not just cancer-causing.

Cherenkov radiation is very fatal if I recall correctly.
