A friend and I are working on a humorous story-thing, involving assorted D&D gods. Unfortunately we want to a) publish it on GiTP, and b) have it in a chapter-and-verse format.

Is this format acceptable, given that the subject matter is ridiculous?

Not sure why it wouldn't be fine. Chapter X, Verse Y is a fine method of telling a tale, and has nothing implicitly linked to religion about it.

Course, should Roland countermand me, I'll stand rebuffed. Otherwise, I think you're good. :smallwink:

Excellent. In that case, how does one do superscript?

As a general rule, if you have to ask if it is acceptable, then it is not...

In this case, the rule is overruled :smalltongue:

Is posting itself acceptable?

D&D gods? Seems fine. Unless there's something else you aren't telling us, like that you're rewording the X book of some real world religious text, a fictional work about fictional D&D gods seems fine.
