Thats's right. How do you build the coolest geth in Mass Effect 2 with Spellcasting?

I mean, the easy answer is to simply say he's a custom Warforged, but thats the lazy answer.

Shadesteel golems sort of look like geth chassis. I don't know how to implement the thousand voices talking together part.

What would the LA be?

and maybe the thousand and change separate minds is a roleplay thing basically

It's a golem thus mindless/unsuited for PC's. It has LA -.

Are you looking for the character as in a build that justifies using it (Legion) in D&D? If so here are a few things that you could try.
1. For the 1,183 voices. There is an item in the Eberron Campaign setting called a docent. These items have an intellegence of their own and special abilities. A warforged with this item could (as a roleplaying thing) become so use to the docent that he starts to refer to himself as "we". Another thing, just take a creative priority and the docent is 1,183 different voices.
2. Spellcaster... Well, Legion is an infiltrator, hence stealth compared to right out melee. Ranged specialist becuase of the sniper rifle. Spells... O.K. Try an Ranger. Rangers have stealth, free bow related feat, and they get spells at higher levels. I don't know if you want this kind of spellcaster though. YOu could muticlass with artificer and make way you want.
3. Should you not want a warforged, you could try a Nimblewright (MM2). They are self aware constructs. I bet if the book came out after Eberron did they would be under living construct instead of just construct.

These are just some things off the top of my head and I did not try to make him for myself before this thread at all... :smallwink:

So a Nimblewright with a docent, and levels in Complete Champion Ranger/Divine Crusader (whatever Legion would pray to)

Silthilar are a swarm intelligence coalesced into a single creature ... not really a humanoid robot form though.

so could a sinthar(?) inhabit a "dead" golem and take it over?

Totemist might work. Binder is closer but needs CHA.

Well he could PAO (which it has as a SU ability) a golem into some living creature and then mind swap with it (psionic power, there's a cheap mirror for it ... temporary effect though).

I should add that Silthilars are an ECL 17 (9 RHD, +8 LA) creature from Lords of Madness ... not really playable.

so a gaggle of Silthilars living in a golem's body, using its stats instead of their own, is too much ECL?
