New to the board but wanted to show off my build and get some feedback and advice. Copy pasted from a textfile so might not make sense or look good. Need advice on that too.
It's a melee combat control build for an otherwise squichy, ranged clericless party. That might also be without a rogue. Not sure yet as we havent started yet.
The class shortnames are factotum, warblade, elf paragon, jade phoenix mage and eternal blade (optional)

I rolled great, 17 17 18 13 11 9, So actualy have str 17, dex 17 and int 20(sun elf). Though its prettymuch a one stat pony. especially after brain over brawn kicks in at lvl 5.
We where given 2 flaws and a trait. hence the many feats

Also, I'm a total elf, like elf paragon total elf. I'm the elfiest of elfs.
Now how do you play that?

You might want to experiment with the {table] feature

Escheton

right, and where can I find that or info about it?

Do you have Excel or OpenOffice? If you do, copy the first table from your text document (not from here) and use Paste Special to paste it into an Excel spreadsheet, selecting tabs to seperate the cells.

Save it as a *.csv file, using the | symbol as the field delimiter.

Open the *.csv file with notepad, copy the data, and paste it here, bracketed by [ table ] and [/ table ] tags.

right, Ill get on it. (edit->)Tried, couldn't paste besides normal. And complete excel n00b so cant think of anything else. Also I lined it up in textdoc all with space basicly.
Now about the build itself, any feedback would be grand...if you can decypher it...

Looks fun.

All the lost Caster and initiator levels aren't going to add up to the most powerful character, but this sounds like a gas to play.

With Factotum 3, Devoted Spirit maneuvers and all those levels in Good Reflex save classes, I wonder why you don't use Crusader (mostly for the free action recovery mechanic, but also the Devoted Spirit prerequisites). Unless you just want to point at your crazy Int synergy, Warblade isn't going to be so useful here.

I considered it, but I really like the uncanny dodge, and ability to change weaponfocus(that I get free as a elf paragon). And there are some maneuvers I need (concentration check to will save) that crusaders just dont get. They also reshuffle their deck way easyer and always have all maneuvers at ready (including the crusader ones gotten from the prestigeclass) Also: flavor

and yeah, Beside the occational utilityspell or buff the casting is basicly just free cake.
Dont get 9th lvl maneuvers due to picking paragon over straight wiz, and not getting the third warblade lvl ,but get neat elf stuff in return.
Free heal on a hit is a nice maneuver though. But seeing im not starting lvl 20 but 1, it's worth it.

IIRC, 3.5 removed the ability that let you multiclass at level 1.

I know, got it houseruled in
If it wasnt it would be factotum, then warblade

somewhat bump, somewhat actual adding of info.
Not editing the first post, its easy enough to make out, sorta
planning on using guisarme till I get knockdown then prolly move to glaive for more dmg.

Anyone know a link too or list of good 1-6 lvl spells that dont really need caster level to be good? Im thinking fist of stone and combustion, stuff like that.
I might swap practiced spellcaster out. Any suggestions for a lvl 9 Battlefield Control gimp-Gish tripper?

Escheton, your post is nearly impossible to read. Try filling in the X's on this:

Edition: D&D 3.5
Race: Sun Elf
Class: Factotum X/Warblade X/Elf Paragon X/Jade Phoenix Mage X/Eternal
Blade X
Attributes: Str X, Dex, Con X, Int X, Wis X, Cha X

I am looking for advice on X.

Yeah, major eyesore.

Here's a simple table. Hit the quote button on my post, and you'll see the code I used to write it. That should get you started on encoding your own tables.

Edition: D&D 3.5
Race: Sun Elf
Class: Factotum 3/Warblade 2/Wizard 1/Elf Paragon 3/Jade Phoenix Mage 10/Eternal
Blade 1. Depends on lvl but ends thus
Attributes: Str 17, Dex 17, Con 11, Int 20, Wis 9, Cha 12
Feats: Combat Reflexes, Expertise, Improved trip, Knockdown, Martial study: Devoted spirit; Foehammer, Practiced Spellcaster (optional), Improved crit(Optional), Martial stance: devoted, aura of chaos, Robulars gambit
Flaws: Shaky, Unresponcive
Trait: Polite

Key Maneuvers/Spells:
Books Allowed: All 3.5 (we have them), Though we are on fearun so eberron stuff will be hard too get approved.

I am looking for advice on a lvl 9 and 12 feat, spells for the casterlvlimpaired, items to get, ways to fix weakness. And ways too get more then str, size and int on trip attempts so I can trip the friggin tarrasque.

Put info in quote and now write this to meet 10 character minumum

For your spells:
Level 6: Wall of Iron, Acid Fog, Mass Bears Endurance, Disintegrate
Level 5: Wall of Force, Wall of Stone, Teleport
Level 4: Polymorph, Dimension Door, Black Tentacles
Level 3: Haste, Sleet Storm, Stinking Cloud
Level 2: Knock, Glitterdust, Darkness, Rope Trick
Level 1: Grease, Magic Aura, Alarm

Those spells (just from the PHB) should give you some magical battlefield control, work as your utility belt or buff your party for a short time (BBEG?).

Of course there are many other good (and perhaps better) spells, but I think those could fit your character and improve his versatility.

wow, thanks. yeah they would fit nicely.
my search-fu is weak, is there a topic with best uses for wall spells?
there must be a few I can't think up myself

search for: [3.5e] The Logic Ninja's Guide to Wizards: Being Batman
that might help and has other great suggestions (if you donīt know it already)

Tactics that use wall spells are usually relatively easy. When you fight multiple enemies: divide them in half with a wall, kill the first half without any problems since the threat they represent is not big enough for your party (thatīs the reason the dm threw 10 and not 5 of them at you), kill the second half.

When you need time to buff->wall (or cloud)->buff->have fun

Other uses of wall spells include infinite money (theoretically) with walls of stone, building your own dungeon, creating safe places in existing dungeons, defending/closing gates or building villages for the poor peasants that lost their home while you killed the dragon, married the princess and got half the kingdom.

Well, since it was mentioned:

As a corollary, a newer guide:

Sort of, in any case, your DM will not allow it, so you might as well ignore it.

how does the infinite money trick work, start a brick company?Well, wall of stone will let you build houses for people, for one. This also includes other types of buildings.

With wall of iron, you spend 50 gp for material components, then fabricate it into weapons and shields and armor and barding, and all sorts of other stuff. Masterworking them isn't much harder since you're going to have a sky-high Int and access to spells that increase your skill checks.

Escheton

right, naturally
though starting a dojo, mercenary army and such is a standard mid to high lvl thing for some of the players and this may make the strongholdbuilder feat less needed
