Where can I find a comprehensive list of alternate class features?
some of them are really really nice. the best I think are:
1. Divine Magician (complete mage 33): cleric gives up one of his two domains, gets to choose a wizard/sorc spell (divination, abjuration, or necromancy only) per spell level he has access to. So, replace 9 predetermined spells (which you already have in your general cleric list) with 9 spells of your choice... and lose the domain power. Very good trade.
2. Divine Companion (Complete champion 51) - a sorcerer can replace his familiar with an indestructible divine companion. the divine companion can be charged with spell levels to hold a max charges equal to your arcane caster level. You can spend charges to make a "conjuration (healing)" spell that heals 1d6 per charge spent. or you can make an abjuration shield that grants +X to all saves and +X deflection AC, where X is the amount of charges spent, for CL rounds.
3. Pool of healing (Complete champion 47) - can only be done in level 7. Substitute one 4th level spell slot for a pool of 5 x (1+current CL) healing points (or damage to undead). they replenish when you replenish spells. with a touch you can apply an exact amount of your choice from the pool to a person. no waste, heal 1 point or 50 points with one touch, your choice. (or damage undead with exact amounts). And it gets more powerful as you level. Also using CL boosting tricks adds to your pool.
4. Eidetic Caster (Some dragon magazine) - A wizard loses his familiar and spellbook, instead he uses his own memory as a spellbook. Memorizing a new spell costs 100gp per spell level, but its perfectly safe from meddling DMs. Spells are then prepared from memory as if from a spellbook. You can copy spells from another's spellbook by memorizing them with magic incense costing 100gp per SL.
5. Elven generalist (some book) - you probably should specialize, but if you are already playing a generalist, this "substitution level" gives one extra spell known per level for nothing (you give up the ability to specialize... which you didn't need anyways since you chose to be a generalist)
Anyways, if you know a good list of ACFs please post it. If you have some good ACFs to recommend specifically, please also post it
