So this is the journal I hand made from scratch (and actual entire book. I am amazed with myself...) for a PC of mine. I had written down on his character sheet he has a book with 100 pages (I paid the price of the pages) to keep track of his life, and on the details as he learns what is needed to fend of Death indefinitely.

What do you think? Spent an entire week on it, and I am starting to think it might have been too much. :/

Note that he has ranks in Profession: Coroner/Mortician, so he sketches/dissects his freshly fallen enemies in the hopes of learning the way of separating a/his soul from a/his body to become a Lich eventually (aka at level 20).

ps. In these images it was not done. It is almost done as of the time of this thread being made. I still need to finish the inside covers.

If it's any consolation to you, I just created a custom made CD of terrifying background music to use in an up coming horror based world of darkness game.

On top of that, I'm gathering materials to make 3 "artifacts of power" for the PCs to handle.

My mother does book-binding as a hobby - she'd love your evil looking tome :P

I like it a lot and think it is a cool idea. Kudos on making an awesome game prop.

That is way cool. Great work - stuff like that really adds to a game.

Making physical items for a game really helps with the immersion. Especially if the item would otherwise be hard to imagine - such as a book made out of skin from your victims.

I make tonnes of crap for games myself, but mostly as a dungeon master. As a player, I usually only do what my DM allows me to do - such as sketch out the town I own, draw maps, structure their society, outline names in fictional texts and so forth.

The journal looks pretty cool, but I'd suggest cropping down some of the pics a bit (after all, we don't need to see the Aldi's bag, the pen, or the pill bottle in the background); it actually took me a few seconds to find the journal amongst all the other stuff in the photo.
