I've looked around, and all that I see is Dwoemerkeeper and potentially Loremaster. What do people think?

Look for any with full divine caster progression:

I once thought about playing a Archivist/Holt Warden/Knight of the Raven. I think both prestige classes are excellent for Archivist with minimum mechanical investments. Although the role playing ones might be difficult, but it easy to create a decent character concept around - basically, you're a nature witch who fights the undead.

Holt Warden is from Complete Champion, and it gives a some druidic goodies, a Heal SLA, the Plant Domain and other things.

Knight of the Raven is from Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, and gives you access to the Sun Domain, anti-negative level feats, a raven companion, full BAB - although it costs a spell casting level.

So, overall, I think they're both good PrCs even if you play them separately.

You don't really want to skip out until after the 11th level, otherwise you'll be losing too much. Maybe pick up one level in Sacred Exorcist (CD) to benefit from Divine Metamagic, but otherwise most characters will want to shoot for Archivist 11. After that any prestige class that doesn't sacrifice any spellcasting levels is fair game.

Paragnostic Apostle isn't too bad...get Lore, and some nifty abilities based on your Knowledge skills.

Archivists make very neat Malconvokers (CS) and Thaumaturgists.

Fleshwarpers (LoM) Archvists win a lot of style points IMO.

The Adept/Archivist-specific Hexer (MotW) is fantastic: 10/10 BA and casting, Wisdom-based curse abilities and 5 spells pulled from the Wizard list.

All the Environment books have fun classes that work. None are striking me as outrageously powerful, but they're flavorful and usually offer a handful of distinct abilities.

I'm a big fan of Keeper of the Cerulean Sign (LoM), specifically for all its wonderful skill points, but it's pretty specific to aberration-killers.

I believe Loredelver (RoD) works for Archivist. It's a fun little class for Illumians that nets either 9/10 or 10/10 casting and some nifty Bard-like abilities that I can't quite recall at the moment.

3.0 Hospitaler is downright silly and should probably be avoided. But if you want 2 domains without CL loss, it'll do that. It's also a boost in HD and BA, iirc.

Faiths and Pantheons is actually full of half-decent class options, now that I think of it. Tons of 10/10 divine casting stuff, usually watered down with dry feat-taxes.

I can't recall whether Recaster (RoE) or Virtuoso (CAd) work, but if they do, I would definitely consider them as well. (The prior for its free metamagic and even more spell access. The latter because Archivists typically fall into a support role with their Dark Knowledge and Bardic Music is a fun way to fill that role. Also, skills.)

Alter Tainted Scholar to allow for divine spellcasters, and it's very good mechanically and flavourfully.

Archivist 8/Divine Oracle 2/Loremaster 10 is traditional. Free feat, UMD as a class skill, Bardic Knowledge, and a number of other goodies- and if you're using Skill Focus Knowledge Religion to get into one PrC, you might as well use it twice.

I've also been wanting to try a Factotum 1/Archivist/Fiendbinder, because having a pet succubus is fun.

Archivist is weird in that it actually has stuff other than casting, so Archivist 20 is actually a reasonable choice.

Ruby Knight Vindicator's good.

Contemplative (CDiv) is my favorite choice. Easy qualifications, 10/10 casting, grants 2 domains (i.e. 2 bonus feats), and you gain various immunities as you progress, even becoming an Outsider at the capstone.

Contemplative is one of those PrCs that hits the sweet spot, being worth taking, flavourful, and not extreme cheese. Like Master Specialist.

Yes, or Loremaster/Paragnostic Apostle - both of which are coincidentally also great choices for an Archivist.
