It was just my birthday on the 12th, and I've been mopey. Anyone got something to cheer me up?

I figure gratuitous begging is allowed 1/year, right?

Why are you mopey? Perhaps finding out the source of such feelings will help us root them out and kill them brutally, letting the blood flow from those darn feelings until they have none left, when the vampires will come to finish off the blood as well.

My advice is to watch cartoons. They are a healthy, legal and effective form of antidepressant. I find this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_glS-YoYqqw) to be especially potent.

I ended up starting a Gurren Lagann marathon for my birthday- seemed to do the trick as well as anything else.

Well, I can't guarantee that it will work for you, but Mint Ting a Ling ice cream covered in melted peanut butter always does the trick for me.

I would also say Buffy marathons, but that's a bit too embarassing to admit.

It is pie day. You must eat pie, and then everything will be swell.

Sorry to hear that, no one should be unhappy during their birthday.
You could try reading a webcomic or book. That usually cheers me up.

Isn't that Pi? How would you eat that anyways?
