Ever since I showed my first few OOTS-style stick figures to my PC's, they've been wanting me to make a small webcomic featuring their characters in a comedic way.

... Should I do it?

I just don't want to feel redundant, lol

There are quite a few OOTS-style web comics out there, after all.

Honestly, so long as its only the OotS art style and not OotS than you should totally do it! Theres never a problem making a comic. Just find a way of making it your own and if you enjoy doing it than do it =). it doesn't matter how many others do the same style.

If it sounds like something you would enjoy doing, go for it! Who knows, maybe you would go somewhere with it. Just make sure it's all original stuff, otherwise you'll look back at it later and be embarrassed.

I'm confident that it would be different than OOTS, but would likely have similar jokes about the formulas used in D&D. (Failing Listen Checks, etc etc)

I believe that it would mainly contain humor on the characters' personality traits. Aracy is a Drizz't clone, (to some extent: dual-scimitars, exiled prince, elf) Adorinda is constantly protesting how everyone must be justice-bound and honorable, and Rojin gets angry extremely easily and rolls balls of flame at anything that moves. I could certainly see some humorous events involving a bowling-pin marching order and a rolling ball of flame occurring, though. >:)

Maybe I will make a few, after all. Who knows? I might actually be pretty good at it.

Rojin= Kill It With Fire (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KillItWithFire) + Trigger Happy (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TriggerHappy) + Anything That Moves (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnythingThatMoves) (except not like that)?

There's already dozens of such comics in the Fan Comics (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=54) subforum in the Arts and Crafts forum.

I think you should do it...
As long as it's actually good.
We don't need more bad comics clogging the interwebs.

We also have the Comic Lab (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138091&page=10)thread in the same subforum. I think you might wanna check that out too.

Instead of an entire comic, if it's just for your players, why not just take note of the best scene from each session, and turn that scene (or moment) into a short comic?

Yesss, call it the most epic episodes of our lives or such.
That way you have less pressure on you and you can think a bit more about the way you will do it.
