The Chameleon (http://dndtools.eu/classes/chameleon/) Prestige Class does not accommodate for Psionics, so here is my homebrew for a Psionic Aptitude Focus:

Psionic Focus: You gain the ability to manifest powers, which may be chosen from the power list of any psionic class. When you choose this focus, you choose a number of powers based on your level, shown on the table below, that you can manifest. You can choose powers of any level up to the maximum power level determined by your class level. You manifest these powers just as a psion does. Your powers points, powers known, and maximum power level are shown on the table below. You gain bonus power points for a high Intelligence score, just as a psion of your chameleon level does. Your manifester level is equal to twice your class level.

You also gain a +2 competence bonus on Knowledge (psionics) checks and Psicraft checks and a +2 bonus on Will saves; at 5th level, the bonuses improve to +4.

Looks fairly straightforward. I don't see any issues with it.

The idea itself is fairly straightforward; I just wanted someone experienced to check the power points and number of powers to see if they were okay.

Too many powers known. Really, Unique Powers per Day, especially when you have this much, is broken (see: Erudite, even if you read it to be not per level, it's still broken over the 20 levels, this gives it in 10 levels)

Suggested powers known progression:
1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 7

Power points are also a bit high - you shouldn't be able to have more than the PP of a single-class L10 Psion (alot of the PP at that level comes from your ability modifier, which makes it even more borked, because you get bonus PP as a L20 manifester).

I did as you suggested, but am increasing each by so at first and second levels you can be a bit more versatile in your power selection; only being able to manifest one power as a focus seems weak.

I scaled down the power points a bit, and made it so you gain power points as a psion of your chameleon level, as opposed to twice it.

I don't know about that; I thought the former numbers were fine as they were. They might have been a bit high before, perhaps, but they're probably too low now. Keep in mind that a 1st level chameleon has better spellcasting than a 1st level wizard, and a 10th level chameleon has slightly over half the spells per day of a 20th level wizard--the lower half, granted, but still. The chameleon should be better than an equivalent level psion to start with, because level 1 of chameleon comes much later than level 1 of psion, but then should advance slowly to about half a psion's potential as it does to about half a wizard's potential.

I'd increase the powers known by 2 each level (so he starts out better than a psion with 4 known, but rapidly tapers off to less than 1/3 psion powers known at 10 vs. 36) and increase PP by, say, a cumulative 4 every level, so it goes from 6 to 129 (which is still less than 1/2 a psion's reserve). Given that it's still about 40 points behind a psion's base PP, leaving bonus PP based on double chameleon level shouldn't be a problem.

Can you maybe post a table of what it would look like?
