I'd just like to personally thank Ireland and it's contribution to the world's redhead population

Anyone here a natural redhead?

I don't have any pictures to add, mostly because the (Natural) redheads I'd post pictures of have already seen their way to being posted.
But I do very much agree, redheads get an amazing bonus to hotness.

Eyebrows can be deceiving. I always had dark eyebrows despite having light blond hair.

I have a red (like, really red) beard and dark brown hair. Why, I have no idea, but yeah, books and covers and judging and all that.

Also, redheads, hells yeah. That's my contribution to this thread. :smalltongue:

I would like to point out, that Patty is actually short of Patricia. Paddy is the proper way to shorten Patrick. An irate Irishman once explained this to me.

As redheads go, a certain fictional one will always hold my heart:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/34/Mjwatson.jpg

Dear Diary: I had that dream again last night, the one where I'm out in the rain in that back alley saving Mary Jane from a bunch of thugs. And then I'm hanging upside-down and she leans in to pull up my mask ...

The frequency of these dreams is beginning to disturb me. But at least they're not as bad as the dreams where I'm Mary Jane. :smalltongue:

The best part is that we, the soulless among you, are celebrated on a day that began it's life as a feast day for a particular body of theological tenets that shall remain nameless lest we invoke the wrath of El Moderatores.

Soulless FTW!

Hahaha. Where did that get started anyhow? My best friend's sister hates, for whatever reason, what she calls 'gingers', those with redhair and freckles. She says they have no souls. Those who have no freckles but are dark red of hair do though.

She's hilarious and says the strangest things, but then I hear jokes about it from other folks.

Edit: Never mind, just found the South Park reference. Figures...

Ginger is what they call redheads in the UK. Hence Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls.

The 'ginger kids have no souls' thing started on an episode of South Park. It's amusing to me, who's been 'ginger' for years but only ever heard the word from across ther pond, how quickly that one episode made 'ginger' a common word over here.

I get called a ginger ALL the time now. Even a year ago? Hardly ever.

I gladly accept your nod, and return it with a wink :smallwink: and the doffing of my hat upon my auburn head. *Oh, how one wishes for nonexistent smileys...*

I do have some Irish heritage, which perhaps explains both my hair colour and my rather high alcohol tolerance. However, I remain an Englishman, and await the feast day of St. George instead. :smallcool:

I've got red hair and freckles.
Although it is fairly brown any more, and I don't have a lot for freckles any more either. Mostly though thats due to lack of sunlight. Not that I don't get outside ever, but seeing as how I burn really easy, I almost always wear a hat and sunscreen.

Though no one ever seems to care if guys have red hair. In fact I can't think of one famously good looking guy with red hair. Of course there are famous guys with red hair, like Conan O'Brien, but he makes fun of himself more for that then most things.

I only ever knew one ginger dude... and he actually was a soulless type. In prison now I'm glad to say. Nothing to do with him being a ginger, but he didn't help the reputation any.

Oh well... she's about the most natural looking fake redhead. Got the whole structure and complexion to go with it.

My ex did. In fact, he decided that, since he prefers red hair, I obviously have red hair. Which I don't. If pressed, he will say that it's at least red-ish. It's not.

Green eyes, too. My eyes actually are a muddy green-brown and I'd tell you green if you asked, but he actually addressed me as Green Eyes sometimes.

Vorpal Tribble, shame on you! You forgot Alyson Hannigan (http://celebrity-pics.movieeye.com/celebrity_pictures/Alyson_Hannigan_200512.jpg)! There's also a new redhead on the sci-fi scene, the gorgeous Karen Gillan (http://thefaust.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/500full-karen-gillan.jpg)

I had a very interesting debate over my red hair (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v229/wickedweasley/dsc00211.jpg) with someone recently - he insisted my hair must be Irish, but I'm fairly certain it didn't come from that side of the family - more likely to have been the Somerset connection in my opinion.

Sneak is, sadly, right about Christina Hendricks. She looks better as a red head, though.

I'm also going to have to disagree about Jewel Staite. She's got the same hair type as I have- medium brown with reddish tint in the right light. My hair is definitely a medium brown, but when I'm in the sun it's been known to go RED. Like, hardcore red. Makes me sad, 'cause I love that color but it only occurs in the right lighting.

It's kinda like my eyes- definitely hazel (a goldish color, almost), but if I'm really calm they are pretty much brown, and if I'm really emotional (happy, sad, angry, whatever) they are very, very green.

In fairness to Christina Hendricks, she's been dying her hair red since she was 10 years old. (http://www.people.com/people/videos/0,,20215802,00.html) "Do the curtains match the drapes?" "No, but they match the personality [wicked grin]." In a similar style of thought I also think Kirsten Dunst makes a great redhead. How about Claire Danes?
