So I thought up a character build that is Druid 3/Bard 4/ Mystic Theurge 5 vampire. He can cast his long spell list spontaneously (Arcane) and convert to Summon Nature's Ally (Divine). Stacked with this, as a vampire he can summon nocturnal animals, higher save DCs/Wild Empathy from the charisma bonus, a vampirized animal companion and boost all his troops with his Bard song and buff spells. Can transform (to low a level to wild shape) and leaves no trail. What do you think?

Use Arcane Hierophant (Races of the Wild), or, if you can convince your DM to drop the ridiculous Evasion requirement, Fochlucan Lyrist (Complete Adventurer) - the former gives class features in addition to advancing Druid and Arcane spellcasting, and the latter advances Bardic Music as well as Druid and Bardic spellcasting.

Overall, you're killing yourself with lost caster levels. Vampire costs 2 levels, plus you've lost 3 Bard levels and 4 Druid levels. At level 10, the first level you get to take any of the dual-progression classes, you are still casting 2nd level spells. That's... very bad.

A generally sub-par PrC combined with a template with far too much LA does not an efficient character make. However, it would probably be a half decent BBEG for the mid levels, but it's certainly less effective than just Druid X.

See also: Spontaneity, while nice, isn't that good due to limited number of spells known (common sorcerer problem) or what they can convert to (generally a cleric problem). The druid at least can plop down SNA to get the odd unicorn here or there.

While thanks for the tips , I never said it was efficient, just fun. What about gestalt? Could you see someone epic level with this build (w/ or w/o gestalt)?

Gestalt would work well, and makes it actually pretty easy to qualify for fochlucan lyrist or arcane hierophant.

Using gestalt, you could probably get enough druid levels to wildshape. Undead by default cannot wildshape. To remedy this, take the Corrupt Wildshape feat from Libris Mortis.
