My first thread in here :smalleek:

Logician (Feat)
At any time you would use or make a check in Bluff, Diplomacy,
Disguise, Gather Information, Perform Intimidate, use your INT
modifier instead of your CHA modifier.

This will only happen on creatures with above 2 INT.

Any other suggestion for CHA based stuff that one use logic to work there way around?

Thoughts?

How about Perform checks with instruments? There are a lot of very smart very talented musicians and composers who are more technically proficient than charismatic.

A) That's awesome.

B) Leadership? You'd have dozens of scientists following you around! Awesome!

C) I second the perform checks. I actually know a few people that fit that bill.

D) I'd say also things like Turn Undead. Y'know, kinda like being Giles or Willow instead of Buffy. Okay, now everyone pretend I didn't just say that and move along now.

I suggest splitting Leadership out of that into its own feat. There's a feat called Might Makes Right that allows a person to use Strength instead of Charisma for leadership, and that's all it does, so I think a feat that lets you substitute Intelligence for Charisma for Leadership AND other things is probably too strong.

Erts, you inspired me to come up with a counterpart feat to your own:

Schmoozer

Benefit: You may use your charisma modifier in place of your intelligence modifier for knowledge (local) and knowledge (nobility) checks. You also learn one language for every point that your charisma modifier exceeds your intelligence modifier (maximum 4).

Whoah, I inspired someone. :smallcool: Crazy feeling.

Yeah, I agree with perform checks. Will add.

What about adding that you can use your INT bonus on your will saves? You know, your reasoning that you shouldn't listen to the guy, not resisting his charms.

And for Sense Motive maybe? Your reasoning out a motive?

Kuma Kode, I agree, I'll get rid of the Leadership bonus.

Hmm, I don't know if Disguise or Intimidate should fall under this. If you think about it if your disguise is perfectly made and everything you still need the CHA to pull it off. Also when you intimidate you don't do it with logic most of the time.

Perform checks for music should defiantly be added though.

Intelligence to Reflex saves is already an option, I believe. That's a feat all by itself. I think it could do with a +1 bonus to Reflex saves as well, though, so take that example lightly.

Sense Motive is stretching it a little bit.

"Do you know how hot a lighting bolt is? Hot enough to completely melt sand. Into glass. Do you know what it's like to have a spider the size of your face on your head?"

Etc, etc. Disguise, maybe I should change it.
