I'm starting a new all dwarf campaign and have been wanting to use the Runesmith from Races of Stone for a while, so now's my chance. I've been trying (and failing) to think of a way to use it effectively though. The full armor thing screams front line combat caster but I'm not sure what to cast. I like the idea of going through Master Specialist to Initiate of the Seven-Fold Veil and Abjurant Champion for the increased BAB and swift abjurations as well.

My current build plan was:
1-3 Abjurer
4 Fighter (need heavy armor proficiency)
5 Master Specialist
6 Runesmith
7-9 Master Specialist
10-13 Abjurant Champion
14-20 Initiate of the Seven-Fold Veil

Feats:
1st: 1st Combat Casting: (for Abjurant Champion)
1st Bonus (Wizard): Scribe Scroll (For Runesmith)
3rd: Spell Focus Abjuration (For Master Specialist)
4th Bonus (Fighter): Dwarven Armor Proficiency (For Battleplate)
5th Bonus (Master Specialist): Skill Focus Spellcraft
6th: ?
9th: ?
9th Bonus (Master Specialist): Greater Spell Focus Abjuration

32 Point Buy (including racial bonuses):
Str: 12 or 16
Dex: 12
Con: 14
Int: 18 or 16
Wis: 10
Cha: 8

I want to go as close to full caster as possible. The only thing I'm dead set on is the Runesmith dip.

What level are you starting on? It makes a difference for how playable your character is.

5th unfortunately, so I'm without armor for a level.

DM's okayed the Arcane Earthblood ACF for a wizard. Other than that the Cha penalty hurts a sorcerer too much. I'm specifically set on being a shield dwarf not a gold dwarf so I can't avoid that. Also Runesmith's benefits only work if you prepare spells.

I actualy don't remember the name of the ACF but is that the one that is normaly for sorcerers?

If you've got enough points left over for a 14 Wisdom, you could always go the "gishborn" way and just use Divine Power instead of worrying about class levels getting you the BAB you want.

Give me a little bit to get to my sources and I may be able to work something out something better than just "Divine Power + Incantatrix" or something more in-line with what you have so far.

Arcane Earthblood is the Dwarf Sorcerer ACF to trade your familiar for Alertness and DR 1/adamantine while in contact with the ground. The other Racial substitutions I'm not interested in.
