If one can make a UMD check to emulate a racial prerequisite, it is possible to emulate such requirements in implants? Could a non-warforged pass a UMD check to emulate being a warforged and thus use an embedded component? How about a non-kalashtar with an embedded quori shard?

Also, can non-race-specific versions of the latter be crafted?

Yes, you can make use of such items with UMD.
You make a Use Magic Device check each time you activate a device such as a wand. If you are using the check to emulate an alignment or some other quality in an ongoing manner, you need to make the relevant Use Magic Device check once per hour.
...
Try Again: Yes, but if you ever roll a natural 1 while attempting to activate an item and you fail, then you can’t try to activate that item again for 24 hours. Do note that, even when you successfully activate such an embedded component, it's always going to be treated as a magic item. That means that its weight isn't considered part of your base, but is always an encumbrance.

I could see you using an embedded magic item as if you were a warforged with a successful UMD check. Getting the magic item properly implanted OTOH would be another hurdle to overcome.
