I have a 13 Warlock/3 HellFire Warlock. On my next level, I plan on going to Warlock 14. Would my EB damage increase as if I was a Warlock 17? or would it stay until my warlock level equaled my "effective warlock level"

You would have 17th level EB.

For PrCs that advance your class features, count those features as though you were staying in the base class the entire time.

This is why full-casting PrCs are so good; you're really not losing anything.

There's nothing to 'feel', that's the way it works by the rules.

I doubt Rule Zero feels the same way...

I doubt there's a DM out there that would rule essentially that all PrC are 0/10 casting.

There are some who think Fighter>Wizard...

The Stupid Scenario Exception is not a valid counterargument. :smalltongue:

I doubt there's a DM out there that would rule essentially that all PrC are 0/10 casting.Hopefully this excludes PrCs that grant casting.

Or even that extreme houserule would make no sense.

In fact, that's a nifty way to make sure that silly wizard doesn't take more than 3 PrC levels :smallamused:
