In some far off plane, separate from all other locations, sits a small, two story building. A old sign hangs on the front, it reads "Nexus News Network".
In this building, a daily news program is made, analyzing the events of the Nexus.

In one office, labeled "PRODUCER", there is rumored to be something awful.
Some say it's a demon with three heads and fiery skin, one that attacks people and eats their noses.
Some say it's a horde of vicious macrovirus creatures.
The truth is much worse.
In the office resides... the Producer.

Another office is labeled "Weather Man."

Inside sits a cat.

[Viera Champion]

And there is yet another door, this one labeled "Sierra Fatal-Anchor". The woman behind that door, has everything perfect for the camera at all times. Her brown hair, always done up in a nice bun, her face, make-uped to perfection, her outfit without a single wrinkle or crumb on it.

[Quinsar]

The head anchor, a mister Falanad brown is an elf, short and small. He' not the smartest, but just a pretty face for the station. Hee has his own changing room.

[Viera Champion]

Sierra Fatal, exits her personal little room-a-ma-jig, and heads down the hall, a pencil tucked behind her ear.

[Quinsar]

The show is supposed to begin tomorrow.
Faland is rehearsing in the mirror.

[Beans]

Muttering emanates from the Producer's office...

BRB, sorry.

[Viera Champion]

Sierra knocks on the producers door, tapping her foot impatiently. She wants to know what their first news story is going to be.

[Beans]

What iiiiiiiiis iiiiiiiiiiit?
The feared voice singsongs through the door.

[Viera Champion]

What's are opening story for tomorow? I like to know these things before we go on air.

[Beans]

A folder of papers comes out of a flap in the door.

No idea what it's about.

Sierra picks up the folder, she'll read it later.
Falland? In his changing room I think.

But Sierra is still right outside the producers room, she turns to head back to her own room.

The producer recieves a page, telling her to come see upper management.

[Beans]

From the Producer's office emerges... The Producer.

A secretary directs her towards the owners office.

[Beans]

She heads thataway, coattails billowing.

[Quinsar]

A door man nods to her an opens the office door. The room is dark.

[Beans]

She enters.
If someone tries to rape me, she thinks, I totally called it.

[Quinsar]

Inside is a beautiful, dark office, lit by one small lamp. At the desk, sits a man, wearing a white suit, and his hair is slicked back.
Behind him, are two men with assault rifles.
'Ey. My name's boss.
Un of my boys is going to search you for weapons now.
One of the men with assault rifles tries to step forwards and pat her down for weapons.

[Beans]

They find such dangerous items on her person as a 500-Lira Italian coin (a change machine has given me several of those; they're almost the same size as quarters) and a nail clipper.
Well, Mr. The Boss, what brings me to your office?
Her voice resonates harshly and oddly from her helmet.

[Quinsar]

Da show starts tommora. You have any stories planned?

[Beans]

She pulls out a small folder of the stories for tomorrow.
She has spiced them up just a little, especially the one about Beans's brutality toward his own characters.

[Quinsar]

Good.
Assign the jobs.
You people might need to find a story each...>.>

[Beans]

No. I don't have my weather bit done. Because it can't be done yet. I have to wait for the scientist to tell me what the weather is going to be. I will however be ready when the time comes. For I am El Gato. And I am teh kiteh of teh lolz who does the weather. Now, right behind the ears please, or endure the wrath of El Gato.

Down in the garage, one of the new employees is working around one of the vans. Mostly, she just wants to know how the thing works. Sure, being a field reporter means she doesn't have to know. But Alysha's curious about this stuff. So, she wants to know.

Sierra smiles as se enters the NNN building. Today was the big day. She even got her own little section of the on air time, where it was just her, and not that other anchor. Shereally hoped doing the Survivor Watch would be fun. She looked over the sheet dedicated to that segment. Today, it seemed that all she had to say about it was explain Survivor, Say that Foro the fire monkey has already been eliminated, and that the current challenge is paintball. Maybe teleport some magic TV cameras there to record all the live action. And the best part was, that the field reporter was also in the competition.

Within the Producer's Office, the woman* known as, well, The Producer fumes. As she* does regularly.
