Ok, so I have heard many posts on these forums complaining about the incredible power of FoI and cunning surge. What would be a good idea to give the factotum if I removed cunning surge? 8 skill pts/lvl, maybe?

The Factotum isn't truly overpowered in my mind. Or if it is, it isn't gamebreakingly so by itself, and it's fun to play.

2 skill points per level for extra standard actions? horrible.

Just make it take 5 Inspiration points. Or make it once/encounter.

It's already 3 inspiration, just make it once a round. done.
