I want to give my players access to these made by house sivis.
Also morse code will be available as a language which can be made by playing a series of beeps with the radios.
Range? Price?

Using sending a base, a contiouse use item, made by a cleric would need level 7, be a 4th level spell so 56,000gp. Using an artificers to make it reduces to cost to 40,000, the add the -25% cost feat, to bring it down to 30,000 each. Still quite expensive.

You could be a homebrewed modifier Status spell instead as the base, so the player A knows if player B is on the object, making morse code work that way then the cost would be 3rd level cleric, 2nd level spell x 2000=12,000 gp each, still expensive but okay for a mid-high level group.

I think there's an item in Complete Scoundrel that is pretty much a big wrist communicator. *runs to check the book*
Yeah, Aspect Mirrors on pg 113. If you wanted, you could just take those as the base, just make them smaller and add a strap to the back.

Not exactly what you wanted, but might be useful for what you're looking to make. Uses scrying as the crafting spell, and price as-is is 4,000g.

Message might work as a base--possibly on a modified version for sneaky ones.

Don't they have a ring in the DMG that does this?

Even better, Sending Stones in the MiC. 8K last I checked.

But there's a Ring that costs about 2K that can give everyone telepathy if they are all sync'ed up.

Is that actual telepathy? As in the ability?

Could be extremely... broken with Mindsight and a minor source of telepathy to qualify for it.

Dunno. Don't feel like digging out my copy of it from under 20 other books.

Earrings of the Wolf, DR 334. look into it.

2K each, all others must be there when new one is made, can only be stopped by anti-scrying ****e. Lead, 10ft of earth, etc. Other than that, no listed limitations IIRC.

I like this idea best. How much would each one cost?
Also what would it cost to increase their ability to penetrate barriers?

Actually, a pair of Sending Stones costs only 1400.

My suggestion as well.

The estimation is 1,500 gp, going by the table. I would lower this to 750 gp. Allowing it to pass by any barrier might increase it to about 1,000 gp, and increasing range to unlimited might double that for a total of 2,000 gp.

That's just a guess though. Your game might work differently.

Ah, right. They are nearly dirt-cheap.

For another approach, you could give them all silver raven figurines so they can use animal messenger basically at-will.
