Did the archivist handbook and the 'spells to drool over' thread get swallowed up, or is there a cached thread out there somewhere?

From Surreal's Handy Links (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19872646/Some_handy_links_for_CO_work):

The only one that works is: Lowest Level Versions of Spells (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19872558/Lowest_level_versions_of_spells)

The rest of the links are broken, which means that unless some gentle playgrounder (I'm lookin at you Eldariel...) had the post saved in cache form, it may be lost to the sands of time forever.

There really isn't much difference between the class and an Artificer or a Wizard's spell selection. Feat/PrC wise, just follow the info in the Cleric Handbooks and you'll do fine.

Considering that a Archivist can choose any divine spell ever written, including:

Alternate Spell Source Bard
Adept
Ranger
Paladin
Various Divine Seperate casting PrC's
Shaman
Shugenja
Etc.

I'd say their spell selection list is a bit expanded from cleric.

But not of Artificers. Especially if Anyspell is allowed.

Anyspell specifically states that the spell it grants is held in your domain slot. No domain slot = no benefit to the spell.

I was mostly hoping pfooti's list of Archivist spells was saved, since that's mostly what you wouldn't get from a Cleric guide. That and how to abuse the stun, but I think that part is still up somewhere.

Quite fittingly, that Archivist guide is still avaiable at... archive.org (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=812050)

If I ever saw the antithesis to irony, this is it

So yeah, somebody called for the...linkage?
Archivist Spells to Drool Over (http://web.archive.org/web/20080416124258/http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=812050) (linked above too)
Archivist Handbook (http://web.archive.org/web/20080416124629/http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=902149)

For those interested in searching themselves:
Old Surrealdex (http://web.archive.org/web/20080618025613/http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=482636); at the risk of obsoleting myself, it's simple enough to find the link you need and get that from Web Archive.
