Paragonia; it is a reality of stunning splendor, unsurpassed beauty and unnatural vitality. Here, the grass is so green and sharp that lessers must wear goggles to appreciate the majesty of the landscape and terrain, and +5 vorpal keen longswords must be used as lawn-cutting implements.

Here is the reality of perfection; where the word sloughs away to reveal the full perfect totality of existence. The land is the perfect ideal, its population the perfect embodiments.

The meow that assaults you is commanding in its power and persuasive in its influence. It is a small cat, yet you find yourself lost within the directive issued by this gorgeous feline. Its soft, fluffy fur is the colouration of liquid silver, its every movement sending ripples of honed musculature to undulate. A paw lifts in an almost bored gesture with offensive ease. Its eyes are pools of sapphire and emerald, twin gems that sparkle and glint even in the daylight. In every aspect it is a cat, but it is by far the most perfect example of one. Before you stands Fluffy, the Destroyer of Worlds.

Combat

A paragonian cat's natural weapons are treated as epic for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Low-light vision (Ex): Paragonian cats have eyes that are so sensitive to light that they can see four times as far as normal in dim light.

A paragonian nymph can suppress or resume this ability as a free action. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Now -this- looks like it could be fun. Have you thought about toying around with the Paragon template, though? Nothing big, just switching out the SLAs and stuff like that for more flavor?

Fizban

I had the same idea myself when I first saw the Paragon template. Send the PCs to a plane where everything is a paragon, cut off their teleportation and planar travel, and make them ride across the plains fearing bandits and wolves like they did 10-15 levels ago. Also: while it's not clear in the SRD, if you look in the ELH, that +13 insight bonus applies to the save DCs of all the creature's special attacks. Spellcasting is listed under special attacks in statblocks :smallamused: (So are spell-like abilities and pretty much every class feature that's not an immunity).

So, how about some Paragon Cavalry? Paragon Animal Trainers with Paragon War-Trained Riding Dogs? Paragon 1st level spellcasters with ridiculous save DCs?

Wrong! Kick reason to the curb and do the impossible! That the team Dai-Gurren way! There's no such thing as perfection! If you stop for even a second, you're just compromising with existence! They're paragons now? HA! They can be even more perfect! YOURS IS THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS!

You forgot to add unearthly grace to the saving throws properly. :smallamused:

I would honestly like to see two of these nymphs fight each other because that fight is darn near impossible.
1. Their attacks can only hit each other on a natural 20
2. Any successful hit (or even critical hit) will be healed completely within 2 rounds.
3. They will never fail a saving throw against each other's abilities except on a natural 1.
4. Their spell resistance is too high for their spellcasting to make a difference.
5. If one turns invisible to get the other's touch AC, the other can simply dispel it (or turn invisible as well).

In short, the battle continues until someone hits a statistical anomoly and keeps rolling 1s or 20s.

That's why one of them is also left-handed!
