I'm basically making all casters spontainius however the also each have a spellbook. Adding spells to your spellbook (called rituals) does not count against your spells known or your spells perday. You cannot add any concentration spell also casting takes 10 times as long as a normal spell.

Any advice before I try to implement such a system or any good spells I should add as dungeon treasure to say solve a latter trap?

Why reinvent the wheel, when you already have incantations (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/incantations.htm)?

I'd say there system is more complicated than mine is. Also due to artificers and manifest zones even a low level character can do stuff normally only a mid level mage could do.

there's a homebrew class called The Magus somewhere on these boards that does what you're talking about. They get a mix between a wizard and sorcerer's methods of spell selection.
