Camp Half Blood: Children of the Nile

Welcome to CHB: Children of the Nile.
This FFRP is based off "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series, as well as the "Camp Half Blood" FFRP.
This FFRP is basically Percy Jackson and the Olympians, minus the characters, most of the plot, and the mythology. The mythology is now Egyptian. There is still Camp Half Blood, but it's for egyptian demigods, not greek. The twelve olympian cabins are replaced by these thirteen:

-Horus
-Amun
-Isis
-Osiris
-Geb
-Anubis
-Nephthys
-Ma'at
-Thoth
-Sekhmet
-Ptah
-Hathor
-Nut
-Bastet

Heaven/Hell:
Olympus and the Underworld are replaced by:

-The Mountains of the west: A towering mountain range, marking the border between the earth and Heaven/Hell.
-The Offering Fields: Beyond the tremendous
Mountains of the West, the Offering Fields offer peace and prosperity to the souls of the righteous.
-The Seven Halls: Each of the Seven Halls contains prosperous farms and estates, the reward of the righteous dead.
-The Pillars of the West: Beyond the Seven Halls liethe Pillars of the West, twenty-one enormous pillars each standingat the entrance of another huge cavern, with each of those caverns holding more idyllic towns and plantations.
-The Fourteen States : Beyond the Pillars of the West are the Fourteen States, a barrier zone between the Pillars and Osiris’s realm beyond. The Fourteen States stand in stark contrast to the peaceful realms of the Offering Fields, for they are full of lava flows, mud pits, and demons - servants and guardians of the Egyptian gods, despite their fearsome natures.
-Fair Ament: Past the Fourteen States lies Fair Ament, a broad valley on the far side of the Mountains of the West. While the caverns under the Mountains are the homes of departed mortal souls and minor godlings. Most of the important deities of the Egyptian pantheon reside in Fair Ament - including Anubis, Hathor, Isis, Nephthys, Osiris, and Thoth.
-The Hall of Truth: All these deities spend much time in the Hall of Truth, where they participate in the judgment of mortal souls.
-Mt. Manu: Past Fair Ament lies Mount Manu, part of another titanic mountain range at the westernmost edge of the world.
-The Twelve Hours of Night: At the base of Mount Manu is a great
gaping canyon, the entrance to the Twelve Hours of Night (The Underworld). Most of the mortal souls that populate the Twelve Hours of Night belong to those who were not given proper funerals. Because of this, their souls could not be found by Anubis and escorted to the Hall of Truth. Set, and his legions of demons, reside here.

If you wish to join, make a character, a demigod of an egyptian god. Post your character, and introduce him/her. Please use the character sheet "Beans" used, and include how long they have been at camp, and they're known powers. Though they will most likely be of one of the 12 that have cabins at Camp, they do not have to be.

Important:
- No overpowered characters!
- Please run your character's powers by me before using them.

To explain, it is basically a parallel world to Camp Half-blood using the Ancient Egyptian Mythos.

She's got a sort of upper-class accent.

He looks shocked and slightly frightened at the mention of Set's name. He recovers, then says: Oh... uh.. we don't have a cabin for.. Set either, so you may also stay in the Amun cabin.
He smiles, but you can tell he's nervous.
Feel free to find a bed in the Amun cabin and wander around camp until dinnertime.

He awaits a response from Allie.
The boy shakes his head.

He walks over to an empty clearing, where he starts lifting great sheets of rock out of the ground and assembles them into a crude cabin.

She takes off her hat and bows, cane in her other hand.
Gloved hand. White-gloved hand.
Do not allow my parentage to disturb you. I expect the worst I can do to you is offend you with my taste in clothing.

Creed sits down at the Amun table and eats a late brekfast. You may wonder how he eats with a mask on. It's one of his few demigod powers. He can treat the face of a mask like it's incorporeal.

Hi. I'm Nick. I don't think there's a cabin for Set around here, so if you like, I can help you make one.

Nick walks over to the Big House and looks for bullying, so that he can stop it.

Allie wanders the camp... it's presumably summer, and yet she's in a suitcoat, leather waistcoat, dress shirt... and isn't sweating at all. She's as comfortable as if she were in a tank top.

She eyes everyone with interest, then finds a nice clearing and stands silently...

With Allie's strainings, a cabin thrusts itself from the ground.
It looks to be made of several different types of architecture---Brutalist, Gothic, Romanesque, Neo-BSJ, postmodern---and they all clash.
Chaos.
She wipes perspiration (not sweat, mind you) from her brow with a handkerchief she pulled from her sexy top hat.

Bes approaches her, and with a wave of his hand, the cabin disappears.

The jumbled architecture and the inside, if you had permitted me to show it, were evident of its chaotic origins.
She nods in thanks to Bes, inwardly annoyed that she exerted herself to no end.

[Creed]

Creed saw this guy.

Luc. That sounds stikingly similar to Lucas, the biggest #^&@#! in the original CHB.

Creed tries to ignore Luc. He has no ill toward Luc, but Creed did cut his Achilles tendon during the last CtF...

I'd just like to say welcome to our new demigods. We haven't had an influx of heroes like his for a long time. A word of warning however. We demigods live dangerous lives. Train as hard as you can. You've been warned. Creed bows and sits back down.

Creed walks out of the pavilion and goes down toward the beach. He collapses on the sand and props himself up on his elbows, looking up at the stars.

By the way everyone, bastet's cabin is replaced by one for Ma'at.

Before you leave, you see Bes in hurried discussion with a woman in a red jacket, black skirt, with a feather pinning her hair up. After they finish talking, she shakes his hand, and then walks out of the pyramid through the back doorway. She turns the corner, and you see a flash from outside the doorway. Bes then heads towards the Big House.

Good morning, dear campers. I have an announcement to make. We are ressurecting the Pyramid Games!
Many of the older campers cheer, as they remember it from a few years back. To those of you who do not know what the Pyramid Games are, they are two battling tournaments. The first is single battles: one-on-one fights. The second is pair battles: two-on-two fights. The winning pair and the winning single will advance to the final round: an "every man/woman for themself" battle. The winner of said match will be crowned champion, and recieve a gold ankh, and the prize of no chores for 2 months. Weapons and Powers are allowed, but no intentional deaths, please. The signup sheet is here. You have today to sign up; the games start this evening.
Immediately after he finishes, campers swarm to the list, writing down their names eagerly.

Once everyone is assembled, Bes says: These are the teams for pairs battles: Creed and Devon; Abby and Luc; Alec and Alyssa; Allie and May; Georgia and Kyle; Alannah and William; Alexandra and Ari; etc, etc... The single match ups shall be a surprise. They start in one hour.

A slim boy with black hair and black eyes approaches you. He's darkly handsome, and has a slight wolfish look to him. Hey, I"m Emmet. Son of Anubis.

Caitlyn nods curtly. "OK then. Might I know where I'm staying so I can drop my stuff off? I'd also like to practice."

She meets Emmet back where he was at, Leeu following her, occasionally stopping to sniff something he finds interesting.

Nick moves his foot forwards, and a ripple of earth travels outwards with enough force to probably knock Luc off his feet. As he does that, a large rock levitates up from the ground. He punches it, and it shatters into razor-sharp shrapnel. He flicks his hand, and the shards shoot towards Luc.

(Realistic. Right...)

Who the hell is Devon? Creed says sleepily.

Aby takes then hankie and wipes her eyes.

A current of air propels him upwards, and he doges the ripple. Some shards hit him, but he manages to slash away most of them. He falls towards you, and using his feet, sends a blast of air at you. It should push you back a bit.

Caitlyn takes up a position near another dummy, readying her kukri. She inhales and exhales, then begins cutting at it.

It's almost surreal as she slashes and hacks, her kukri flashing together and apart. It almost seems as if she can move her arms in a different fashion than a standard human, like she's more flexible.

The poor dummy is cut to pieces.

Leeu sits nearby, watching intently. It's difficult to tell if he's actually paying attention or not, though.

As the wave hits him, he appears to burst into particles of sand, which fall to the ground. He reforms behind Luc as Luc lands, and he grabs the blades of both of Luc's scimitars, and tries to bend them. He then holds one of the spikes on his gauntlets up to Luc's throat.

Abby hugs her back then sighs.

His scimitars don't bend; they seem to be quite heavy-duty. As you hold the spike up to his throat, he yells, and an extremely strong wave of wind blasts out from him in all directions. It should at least knock Nick over and blow him back a few feet.

((By the way, Luc is the best fighter at camp and has been training since age 6...))

The wave slams into Nick and blows him back into a wall. He sinks in, and emerges, partially covered in earth that moves like armor. He raises both arms, and the earth around Luc lifts up in massive boulders, bouncing Luc between them like he's a human pinball. Nick then collapses, and the boulders slam into the ground, probably trapping Luc underneath them.
