Just wanted to share these because they are so cool.

Unless you are stuck in Europe, of course.

After the fiasco with the giant eagles, one does not simply fly into Mordor either.

Divine waste, offspring of a feminine canine! :smalleek:

Wow, that's crazy. I didn't know a Volcano could cause lightning.

Heh, in a few pictures the ash cloud looks like a face going "IMMAGONNANOMONYAHNOMNOMNOM". :smalltongue:

The photos with lightning just look too awesome to be real.

I think I know what my desktop background's changing to...

The irony is that anyone who wants to get there and photograph can't because of the volcano.

One of them looks like Bowser to me. Anyone else see it? It's the one with the starry night sky.

It has dirty thunderstorms now? Wow. That and the giant skull has now made this the most awesome volcano ever.

Hey, it actually does. Now THAT'd be an awesome final boss: giant elemental Bowser.

That volcano's spewing out lightning now? And how many airlines were conducting test flights in and around the ash cloud? :smalleek:

So, any homebrewers ready to stat up the firestorm titan, or whatever that thing would be called?

Eyjafjallajökull
fire/rock/lightning/glacier(meltwater)/ash elemental

Hp/armor: we havn't tried yet, go ahead see how many sword blows it takes.
abilities:
ash cloud: Eyjafjallajökull can annoy rich CEO's over 1000km away.
Lightning storm: any party member within 500m of the volcano has his/her brain cooked so fast his/her skull explodes, dropping hp to -15
Chuck lava bombs: any party member within 1k from the volcano has hp dropped to -15 on a 4+ roll o a d6 due to being hit by car sized chunks of half molten rock.

been a while since I played

Don't forget that it paralyzes tourists too.

This damn volcano has made my job unnecessarily difficult. Phoning business owners is a lot harder when they're stuck on the continent/in India (as a surprising amount of them are).

Awesome pics though. Is the volcano shooting lightning?

:smallfrown: Hope things improve for you soon.

The lightning is caused by electrical discharge in the ash cloud, not by the volcano itself. Something to do with particles colliding, I imagine. Here's (http://www.livescience.com/environment/volcano-lightning-Eyjafjallajokull-100420.html) an article if you're interested.

Meh, the job thing's cool. It's my own fault for working in a call centre :smalltongue:

Lightning volcano is friggin' awesome all the same :smallcool: I love me some lightning, and combining it with apocalyptic "lets all go back to the pre-flight age" volcanos is super-awesome.
