Just out of curiosity.

I play DnD once a week for about 6 hours very regularly, we almost never miss a session. Sometimes we throw another game in there on a different day of the week. Either a different edition of DnD or a different game like star wars when we want to try something else. Personally I prefer when we play games other than DnD but we always end up going back to it.

My group plays approximately every 3 weeks, and the session lasts 10-12 hours, including a dinner break.

Including PbPs? Daily. :smalltongue:

Actual, IRL sessions, I suppose I average 3 a month or so.

NOT ENOUGH. I played Saga a month ago. Before that 2 hours once a week with some kids but I had to stop.

Well, I do DnD Encounters, which is weekly. And then my group meets almost every Friday, which alternates between Pathfinder and whatever the other DM feels like pulling out of his hat that week. Then on Saturdays, it's usually nWoD.

I have a group that meets once a week on wednesday nights, with two GMs alternating who runs their game each week. I also have a biweekly game I run on fridays. And there's a once a month game on saturdays. All game sessions are about 4 hours long. If I find myself with free time I'll also jump into random LFR modules from time to time.

This is a good amount of game time for me, but it's divided over too many characters. I'd rather play one or two characters in this amount of time instead.

At least once a week for about 5 hours. It's pretty difficult to manage because we're all in different time zones.

Face to Face every wednesday for about five hours.

IRL once a week outside of holidays, but our nominal 3-hour session (already too short) ends up being about one and a half hours long.

Let's see...

Every Friday for about 5 hours of D&D(3.5), followed by 6 or so hours of Cthulhu. Then 4 hours of D&D(4.0) Saturday night. Then another D&D(3.5) game on sundays, which usually runs for 4 hours or so.

For the past 7 years one group I have been in tries to meet every week. Its been growing increasingly difficult after college (not to mention I moved out of the state so skype is the only option). This previous year has been about once a month if lucky. Also this past year I joined another gaming group in my area (got to love meetup.com), we game every Thursday (might miss a week here or there) on the dot from 6-10. I am surprised as we have not gone later then 10. Also sometimes game every other weekend for 4-6 hours (much more loose as weekend schedules tend to fluctuate).

I am torn as I am having so much more fun with the face to face group (the general schedule and order and approaching the game more from unusual personalities of the characters then chess), but I feel bad abandoning my original group (granted its now over skype and I have been feeling like I am putting all my time/effort/money to keep in the old group with little from the original members).

The plot thickens as I plan to move back in about a year =_=.

Usually 0-2 times a week. I play in 2 separate groups, with me and one other person overlapping. Each group meets 1/week. Sometimes things come up that make meets not happen. Significantly more with one group than the other.

I play an online game once a week, usually for about 4-5 hours.

I also DM a bi-weekly game that tends to run 6-8 hours, although it's not uncommon for us to also rent movies and stop for a meal, so it can be spread over 10-12 hours.

Between 0 and 4 times a week. I'm in 4 different games, with 3 different groups.

Tuesdays: Legend of the Five Rings.
Thursdays: Pathfinder
Fridays or Sundays: 4e
"Weekends when his wife is on-call": 3:16: Carnage Between the Stars, Eclipse Phase, Ninjas and Superspies (notably lacking both Ninjas and Superspies), or Systems Failure.

Once a week, usually.

Always 3.5. Right now were half-way through the Shackled City adventure path. None of us have been playing for more than 2-2.5 years. However, the DM (a family friend of a party member) has been DMing forover 25 years.

Normally: 2-3 times a month, for 8-10 hours each session.

Recently: Never. We haven't gamed since February. :smallsigh:

once a week every wednesday for 4-6 hours on Skype. Rare that we miss a session.

With the Summer coming up though, and all my friends coming back here, we might actually do an IRL campaign. Which would be awesome since i haven't seen any of them for years.

Not often enough.

It varies. Once every 2-12 weeks, I guess. For a full day.

Zip. Had a sort of falling out with the group so I don't play any more. I'm thinking about running a 1 on 1 for my room mate. He wants to learn, but I've never DM'ed.

Once a week, on saturday afternoon, for 5 hours, more or less.

Once I used to play twice a week, and the second day was Sunday - 6 hours or so. But that group changed and we are older now - I work in another city, so..

Once a week here, we all switch who GMs and what game is playing, so we get to try out lots of different systems. It's pretty good. Since we switch games every couple of months it lets us introduce new people or allows someone to leave without in-game confusion, a problem I've found with longer running games. If there are absentees, we meet up for a game of munchkin or summat.

Depends a lot on who's in town when and where everyone is living at any point. From couple of times per week to once every half a year. Luckily I'm still young and have plenty of time.

Not as often as I'd like. Once a week usually - twice if we have two games running at a time, which is uncommon - and I am always participating in/GMing a game on rpol.net (http://rpol.net).

Usually every Sonday, either DnD or Cthulhu always 6 to 10 hours. At the moment it is only DnD every sunday because i don't want to dm both cthulhu and dnD but to show my CoC players the system until the other dm is ready i volunteered to master DnD every Sunday until my little campaign is done :) in 2 more sessions hopefully ^^

Honestly, their are enough of us here that say we don't play as much as we'd like that we could start up several groups. :smallconfused:

Almost never:smallfrown:

My home group split up after graduating high school, different colleges, military all that stuff. We've gotten together like 3-4 times in the last 2 years for 1 shots and the like. Sadly I've been unable to find a group at my college so my D&D fix has gone unfulfilled for far too long. I've tried pbp here numerous times, both as DM and player but every time it's fallen apart too quickly to be satisfying.

Sometimes we play twice a month. Sometimes once a month. Since it's summer vacation here, we've gotten up to about once a week.

we play 2 times a week for 5 hours a piece. one is a dragonlance game for the newer dnd players and the other is a 3.5 game we have been playing for roughly 7 years.

Incredibly irregularly. With people going to college, it's basically "whenever enough people are in the same town and available," which is once every couple of months on average between my four groups.

Only about once a month, for about 4-5 hours a pop.

We're the same group that used to get together 2-3 times a week a decade (or two :smallcool: ) ago, but life's little responsibilities just kept getting bigger over the years.
