Hey.
Just started a new group and picked to play a dwarven scout.
Now, I'm planning on specing thrown axes specifically and take levels in Master Thrower as soon as I'm able, meaning around level 7 or 8.
I understand that one of the "throwing tricks" the Master Thrower can use is Doubletoss which gives me the ability to throw 2 throwing weapons at once but I'm treated as using two weapon fighting.
So I'm thinking maybe on getting all the two weapon fighting feats (Improved, Greater).
Problem is that most the scout bonus feats wont be much useful for this build (beside Trace and Far Shot).

Here's what I thought my build should be: Total Character Levels in ()
Scout 1 - PBS
Scout 3 - PS
Scout 4 - Track (Bonus)
Scout 6 - Weapon Focus: Throwing Axe
Scout 8 - Far Shot (Bonus)
Master Thrower 1 (9) - Two Weapon Fighting
Master Thrower 2 (10)
Scout 9 (11)
Scout 10 (12) - Improved PS
Scout 11 (13)
Master Thrower 3 (14)
Master Thrower 4 (15) - Improved Two Weapon Fighting
Master Thrower 5 (16)
Scout 12 (17) - Improved Skirmishing (Bonus)
Scout 13 (18) - Greater Two Weapon Fighting
Scout 14 (19)
Scout 15 (20)

Thoughts ?

I'd want to take Improved Skirmish sooner and I'd consider this feat

Ranged Skirmisher[General, Scout](DR346 p87)
Skirmish class ability, Dexterity 13, Wisdom 13, Point Blank Shot, Far Shot
You apply your Skirmish damage to ranged attack made on opponents within 60’ (instead of the normal 30’).

You seem to have two attack modes
1)
Full Round Throwing with no Skirmish damage
2)
Move and have One attack with Skirmish damage.

Have I missed something or do you have a way to get your skirmish damage on a full round attack ?

The Ranged Skirmish Feat is kinda useless since the Throwing Axe only has 10ft throwing increment (and 20 with Far Shot)

And you forget the throwing tricks the Master Thrower gets.
Doubletoss gives me one standard with 2 throwing axes at once.
Also on higher levels my BAB will be high enough for 2-3 attacks per round.

Ranged Skirmish is not useless, you just get -2 to hit per increment out to 5x. This shouldn't be much of a problem for you.

i would sugest grabbing some ranger levels mabye going some swift hunter.

you can technicaly with
twf
rapid shot
quick shot.

Make 3 attacks just from that.
1-3 ranged attacks that is.

best way to grab swift hunter is to go 3 scout 1 ranger 1 scout.. and take it as your bonus scout feat.
then at 6th take improved skirmish... you will be happier with that at a lower level.

Bloodstorm Blade (Tome of Battle) makes this much better.

So does Hammer of Moradin (PGtF).
