How many different auras can a character project at once.

Marshel 2, minor and a major
Dragon shaman 1
Divine mind 1
Edit: forgot about double draconic aura at 12th.

So looks like 6 auras active at once?

I can't remember if dragon lord from races of dragon or dragon magic can stack.

Is there any way to optimise the use of auras?

Just 3.5. no pathfinder or 3.0

Full Bard is usually better than all of these classes combined at continuously providing large bonuses to a group.

I agree, though bards require singing and can be disrupted. I was wondering if there is a way to optimise the aura mechanic or not. If there isnt then thats fine. But seems to me we can stack a decent amount of auras together to make something workable, plus i belive that all the aura effects are untyped and or stack.

I see. Hmm... Do Binders have any vestiges that bestow auras? I think there are some White Raven maneuvers/stances that help such a character in Tome of Battle. I'm away from my books, but you might find some useful auras there (if you haven't already looked in those places).
