View Full Version : List of Monk weapons?

Does anyone know where I can find a list of monk weapons? Obviously the SRD lists the weapons that are monk weapons, but only those found in the PH1. I'm looking for a list that tells me all the weapons (or most) and hopefully, where to find them. In particular, are there any monk weapons with either reach or range? I'd like to find one of each if possible.

Thank you!

11. The monk as a projectile.

But the monk is proficient with none of those...

number 11 sounds interesting... I'd need a VERY big slingshot...

you're in luck. your monk can use that sling himself.
huh. that might be a way to substitute a jump check with an attack roll.

Yea, I got those out of the SRD, but haven't several 3rd Party books came out with other ones? Like ones based of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc martial arts? Cause pretty much only Okinawa uses most of those weapons.

You might want to expand it to include broadswords, spears, longswords, glaives...

There's always the Kensai class. Also depending on how you read the wording on the monk's unarmed strikes (namely that they count as weapons when it comes to spell descriptions) it's arguable that you can just straight up enchant your unarmed strike.

Look on the Crystal Keep index for weapon with the word Kata next to them. This won't be the whole list (since other books came out after this index), but it contains quite a few.
