Simple question: is there a way to get a list of PC-playable monsters sorted by Level Adjustment? Online SRD has some 20+ ways to sort monsters, but LA isn't one of them :smallannoyed:

It's an annoying fact that there are like 5 different SRDs online, and they all have different organisation and content.

The D&Dwiki one has lists of races in LA, HD, and ECL. (http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Races_by_LA,_HD,_and_ECL)

Why would you want to sort by LA? ECL seems much more sensible, since LA doesn't take into account racial HD (and so would be a fairly poor indicator of the level a monster PC is suitable for).

RHD counting towards is a mistake for the first LA*2

Common sense is needed in addition, but thats the gist of it.

Yeah, because a fire giant would be so balanced alongside a 4th lv human fighter...:smalltongue:
