Which book is this one from? I believe the others all lose 1 caster level at first, and are thus out.

Heartfire Fanner from Dragon Magazine 314, first two levels on crystal keep (http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/rules/DnD3.5Index-Classes-Prestige.pdf). Not available until level 8, but gives you bardic music as if you were a 5th level bard at its 1st level.
