Zamm Lorra, a Crystal Lord

Wielders of psionic power hold great dominion over items fashioned of crystal, and most psionic items possess at least a portion of crystalline material. Armor and weapons enhanced by psychic powers tend to be made almost entirely out of the substance. This is where the crystal lord comes in, a warrior-smith who has dedicated his life towards mastering the psychic arts of crafting weapons and armor from crystal and enhancing them with psionic energies.

Many crystal lords hail from multiclassed shapers who have learned some of the arts of the warblade or the swordsage, the rest hail from psychic warriors who have through haphazard or formal training learned the arts of the Sublime Way. A religious order of ardents have arisen dedicated to gods of craftsmanship and war to round this tradition of warrior-craftsman.

Class skills: Appraise (Int), Autohypnosis (Wis), Balance (Dex), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (engineering) (Int), Knowledge (psionics) (Int), Profession (Wis), Psicraft (Int).
Skill Points per Level: 2 + Int modifier.

Class Features:

Weapons and Armor proficiency: The character gains no new weapon or armor proficiencies.

Powers Known: At every level but 1st and 6th, a crystal lord gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if he had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus feats, metapsionic or item creation feats, psicrystal special abilities, and so on). This essentially means that he adds the level of crystal lord to the level of whatever manifesting class the character has, then determines power points per day, powers known, and manifester level accordingly.
If a character had more than one manifesting class before he became a crystal lord, he must decide to which class he adds the new level of crystal lord for the purpose of determining power points per day, powers known, and manifester level.
If the character did not belong to a manifesting class before taking this prestige class, he does not gain manifesting levels.

Maneuvers: At each odd level, the crystal lord gains new maneuvers known from the Diamond Mind, Iron Heart, and Stone Dragon disciplines. You must meet a maneuver's prerequisite to learn it. You add your crystal lord levels to your initiator level to determine your total initiator level and your highest-level maneuvers known.
At 3rd, 6th, and 9th level you gain an additional maneuver readied per day.

Stances Known: At 3rd and 8th level you learn a new martial stance from the Diamond Mind, Iron Heart, and Stone Dragon disciplines. You must meet the stances prerequisites to learn it.

Crystal Forger (Su): A crystal lord gains the Craft Psionic Arms and Armor feat as a bonus feat; additionally, he may forge these regardless if he knows the powers required to make specialty arms and armor. His manifester level for making psionic arms and armor is equal to twice his class level plus his normal manifester level (but may not exceed his character level +5). Thus, a psychic warrior 10 / crystal lord 5 would have a manifester level of 20 for crafting psionic arms and armor. To be able to craft items using powers he does not possess, the crystal lord must make a Psicraft check equal to 15 + twice the level of the power(s) required to fabricate the item.

Craft Reserve: The crystal lord gains a craft reserve, just as an artificer, to produce psionic arms and armor. He may only use this to fabricate items of this type.

Psibond Weapon (Su): A psibonded weapon is a weapon forged by the crystal lord as his personal weapon. When using this weapon, the crystal lord enjoys the surety of knowing his weapon is a pure extension of his will and of his mind. He may add his Wisdom modifier to his damage rolls with this chosen weapon. To bond this weapon, he must spend a day in meditation with his weapon to link his mind to the crystalline structures within the weapon. The crystal lord may only have one psibond weapon at a time, but may change this weapon to another weapon he has crafted by performing the bonding ritual, as described above.

Retain Essence (Su): The crystal lord may deconstruct psionic and magical items to use their essence to bolster his mental powers in the creation of psionic arms and armor, by adding the experience points used to make the item in question to his craft reserve (see the Artificer class feature of the same name).

Mind Over Matter (Ex): A crystal lord's great affinity for psionically enhanced crystal allows him greater protection from armor crafted by his own hand. While wearing crystal armor crafted by his own works, the crystal lord may add his Wisdom modifier to his armor bonus to AC. This ability stacks with the swordsage or monk's ability to add their Wisdom modifier to their AC only in regards to their touch AC (as armor bonus is factored to normal AC and flat-footed AC); this class feature and their Wisdom to AC bonuses do not stack otherwise. The crystal lord must harmonize this armor to their psychic nature in the same manner as their psibond weapon, and can be done together. This cannot be done with shields of any variety.

Greater Psionic Weapon: The crystal lord gains Greater Psionic Weapon feat as a bonus feat.

Crystalline Artisan (Ex): At 5th level, the crystal lord may add fabricate to his list of powers known (whether he can manifest a power of that level or not; if not, he gains this power when he attains potency enough to use it). At 10th level, he may add psionic true creation to his list of powers known, with the same restriction as above.

Journeyman Crystalsmith: At 6th level, the crystal lord's skill with crafting psionic arms and armor improves, and he gains a bonus artisan feat of his choice (Exceptional Artisan, Extraordinary Artisan, or Legendary Artisan). This feat's benefit is applied only to his Craft Psionic Arms and Armor feat and items created when using it.

Crystalline Fortitude (Ex): The crystal lord has begun to understand the very nature of psionically enhanced crystals and their effects on the manifester's physical form through the medium of the mind. By painfully inserting slivers of crystal beneath the skin, the character may harmonize his psychic essence with these slivers that begin to grow and adapt to his body, by allowing him to use his Wisdom score for bonus hit points in lieu of their Constitution score. The character's Constitution score is still the source of his core vitality, and if it ever reaches 0, the character dies per normal. Undead or deathless psychic characters gain no benefit from this ability, as their vitality comes from an extraplanar source.

Psychic Weapon (Su): The power of the crystal lord's psychic connection to his psibond weapon deepens, becoming a reflection of his power. His chosen weapon gains the psychic (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/items/weapons.htm#psychic) property.

Enduring Will (Ex): The psychic power of the crystal lord's crystalline fortitude deepens, causing the crystal lord to use his Wisdom modifier in place of his Constitution modifier on Fortitude saves.

Master Crystal Smith: The true master of psionic weapon and armor craft, a crystal lord of 10th level grants additional benefits to any weapon or armor he crafts of crystal. Normal crystal weapons gain the properties of deep crystal, and true deep crystal weapons inflict an additional 1d6 points of damage if a character wielding it possesses the psionic subtype. Psionic armors fashioned primarily of crystal function as if they were also made of mithril if worn by a character with the psionic subtype.
