I'm looking to make this thing into a PC, but I have little to no idea where to start. I'm looking for LA of about 19-20, and I hope that it works out. Here are the stats thus far:

str: +7
dex: --
con: +16
int: +45
wis: +45
cha: +45

immobile: You are incapable of moving.

telepathy: You are capable of communicating telepathically out to 500 ft. per hit die.

Hit Die: All of your hit die change to D10, if they are not already higher.

Child: 0-2500
Young Adult: 2501-5000
Adult: 5001-10000
Middle-age: 10000-15000
Old-age: 15001-25000
Venerable: 25001-<heat death of universe>(maybe)

As is fairly obvious, this isn't going to look pretty...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought immobile creatures/objects had no Dex score. Possibly no Str score, either.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to make a PC out of one of these?

Er. You're looking for LA of 19-20, or for a total ECL (LA plus racial hit dice) of 19-20?

Eurus: I suppose ECL 20 would be appropriate for the creature

Melayl: 1.) You're probably right about the DEX score, 2.) I'm looking for a character that has good reason to be quite powerful but not engage in combat too often. Specifically, I am planning on using this in a game in which we start at ECL 50 with nigh unlimited wealth. Already we have characters that would take Pun-Pun more than five rounds to kill, and it's been hinted that our strength will be increasing...dramatically. As we are getting divine ranks at start, I should be able to use the greater teleport ability to partially circumvent that immobility. Does this answer your question as to why I would want to be so crippled?

Actually there's an elder brain in the Lords of Madness book. It has 26 HD, is large, has 350ft telepathy, swim and fly speeds of 30ft and it has an Str and Dex score. The CR is 25.

I was aware there was an Elder Brain there, but I didn't know it had a fly speed. That makes it significantly more playable. Thank you for the information!

And a lower CR one in "Monster Manual V".

Thank you for the information; I will attempt to make the template reflect those statistics.
