(Yeah, I sorta got an unfair draw there. You really needed monsters that killed mine, not just defenders.)

With a flash of light, the man is gone, as well as the Beast King.

(He used Soul Release on HIMSELF and the only monster in his opponent's graveyard!)

(You got an unfair draw? I'll say! I didn't have enough time to get ANY defences up, let alone my core card.

The Partrican of Darkness appears to be useless... any other monsters that destroy other monsters with their effects (preferably in battle)? I need to replace Partrican. Also, any other direct attacker ideas?)

(Well, I would consider some defense monsters like Spirit Reaper and Marshmallon. Man-Eater Bug and Old Vindictive Magician can help with the "destroying enemy monsters" thing, as can D. D. Warrior Lady, though she can also prove useful as an offensive monster as well. D. D. Assailant is also pretty good. I would definitely play the Reaper and the Marshmallon, though, as your plan seems to be to stall, and indestructible monsters are generally good defensive plans.)
