Improved Grab (Ex):
To use this ability, the Joy Squid of Despair must hit with a tentacle attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can constrict.

Constrict (Ex):
A Joy Squid of Despair deals automatic tentacle damage with a successful grapple check.

Spell-like abilities (Sp):
At will: Crushing Despair, Call Lightning, Hideous Laughter, Major Image, Bane, Fear, Create Water
2/day: Summon Nature’s Ally VII (can only be used to summon elementals or monsters with the evil subtype), Heal
All are at caster level 14, DCs are CHA based.

Aura of Despair (Su):
A Joy Squid of Dispair radiates a malign aura that causes enemies within 10 feet of it to take a -2 penalty on all saving throws.

Amphibious (Ex):
Although Joy Squids of Despair are aquatic, they can survive indefinitely on land.

Protection of Tears (Su):
Though the power of tear magic, a Joy Squid of Despair can deflect blows both physical and magical, granting a +4 deflection bonus to AC.

Skills:
A Joy Squid of Despair has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. It can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. It can use the run action while swimming, provided it swims in a straight line.

Combat:
They will often start out by summoning a storm elemental or, against weaker foes, just enter for the kill, battering the enemy to death with their tentacles.

Once a noble protector of nature swimming through the seas of the Paraelemental Plane of Storms, a Joy Squid of Despair has been corrupted by fiends. Constantly sobbing, they project an aura of sadness wherever they go. Those who are weak of will can easily enter a spiral of sadness, becoming easy prey for the squid. They can only be freed from the fiends by death.

I'm guessing this is a Red Dwarf reference, but I'm not quite sure... :smallconfused:

Just a few things caught my eye:

It looks like it is missing the Psionic Subtype.

You gave it a land speed but didn't give any ability to breathe on land. Hold Breath would work too.

Constrict mentions arm attack but it only has tentacle attack; should be revised to tentacle only.

Deflection bonuses come from magic and should be noted in the Special Ability. Where does the deflection bonus come from?

Organization is worded oddly. Should be Solitary not Solo. If there is only one it is (Unique).

Full Attack should indicate whether it is Tentacles AND Bite or Tentacles OR Bite. The semicolon should be replaced by "and" or by "or".

The skill is "Perform" not "Preform."

You may want to consider changing Spell-like abilities to Psionic abilities.

Squids can sob? (or cry for that matter)
