More information about this campaign:

My DM has advised me not to play a wizard (no idea why)
He has mentioned there will be constructs

I am open to different classes (an Overpowered Bard would be awesome), but if you have anything that I could use to help me in this campaign I would love it

Don't make it too broken though, I want to be overpowered and do mass damage, not 1 shot every enemy thrown at me

Druid 10?
Hellfire Glaivelock?
Frenzied Berserker?

What role do you want to be?

Warblade with Mountain Hammer maneuvers (for breaking Damage Reduction creatures like paper).

Warforged with Construct Lock feat. You get bonuses against constructs and I think you can stun them with the feat

Overpowered bard eh?

Race: Human

Savage Bard (UA) 9/Dread Pirate (CV) 9/Warblade (ToB) 1/Swordsage (ToB) 1

Feats: (2 flaws)
1: Dragon Heritage [Battle] (RotD)
1: Dragonfire Inspiration [Sonic] (DM)
1: Lingering Song (CV)
1: Quick Draw
3: Song of the Heart (ECS)
6: Words of Creation (BoED)
9: Weapon Finesse
12: Snowflake Wardance (Frost)
15: Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
18: Greater Two-Weapon Fighting

Spells:

Inspirational Boost (SpC) - +1 inspire courage
Whirling Blade (SpC)

Items:

Badge of Valor (MIC) - +1 inspire courage
Vest of Legends (DMG2) - +5 to effective bardic music level

You'll start out at level 10 with Inspire Courage +5 after spell and items, which doubles to +10 with Words of Creation and turns into 10d6 sonic damage with Dragonfire Inspiration. You'll get an additional +2 Inspire Courage as you level up in Dread Pirate, which finally ends up with 14d6 sonic damage on every attack along with some temp hp and AC from Dread Pirate. I'm sure your allies will appreciate the help you'll be giving them.

At your current level, you should just sing before battle, then stand back and fire crossbow bolts or cast Whirling Blade once battle starts, which is much more effective than it sounds considering the additional 10d6 damage you're getting on each attack. Once you get Snowflake Wardance, you'll have +Cha to attack which means you can start mixing it up in melee. Two-Weapon Fighting maximizes your number of attacks which is quite nice with the bonus die on each, and your bab isn't bad with Dread Pirate having full bab.

The two martial adept levels at the end lets you cherry pick whatever maneuvers and stances you want; I like to snatch White Raven Tactics with warblade and grab some extra attacks off of Dancing Mongoose and Pouncing Charge, but pretty much anything works.

Warblade with Stone Dragon maneuvers (for breaking Damage Reduction creatures like paper).
fix'd.

And yeah, those same maneuvers will let you ignore hardness. Those are two of the things that make constructs so damn tough.

Also, if you want to prove your DM wrong, build a wizard anyway!

Race: Dragonborn (RotD) Lesser Tiefling (FRCS) or just Human

Conjurer 3/Master Specialist (CM) 2/Malconvoker (CS) 9/Master Specialist +2/Archmage 4

Feats:
1: Spell Focus (Conjuration)
3: Spell Focus (Transmutation or Enchantment)
6: Quicken Spell
9: Summon Elemental
12: Whatever
15: Whatever
18: Whatever

Take the Focused Specialist (CM), Rapid Summoning (UA), and Enhanced Summoning (UA) class feature variants. Ban Evocation, Necromancy, and Illusion. Summon/Planar Bind up an army of outsiders and laugh at the puny constructs with their spell immunity which does nothing to hinder your army. And lob some Orbs while you're at it just to add insult to injury.

@ ^: Oooh, I like the Lesser Tiefling/Dragonborn combo. Terrible flavor, but LT is mechanically an excellent base for Dragonborn ... mostly because it's got crappy racial features that you won't mind losing to the Dragonborn template.

fix'd.

No, I meant Mountain Hammer maneuvers (Mountain Hammer, Elder Mountain Hammer, eventually Ancient Mountain Hammer). Other Stone Dragon maneuvers are more or less underwhelming. Better to focus on Diamond Mind (those seem like they'd be good against golems).

We don't know why the DM advised against building a wizard though.

I know! If it weren't for the devil-blooded worshiper of a god of good thing, I'd almost say they were made for each other. Can't really say no to +2 Con +2 Int -2 Dump with Wings or Blindsense on a LA+0 race.

I assumed it was because of the constructs. Well unless antimagic is popping up all over the place, I can't imagine why it'd be a bad choice regardless.

The DM probably doesn't realize that Golems and the like are only immune to SR:Yes spells.

Alright I am an idiot for not mentioning other details but my Teacher in class told me to get off Giantitp in class..but the campaign is 3.5e, and My character has to start off at Level 10...I like the builds I am getting but those are for higher levels

Do you have excess to the XPH?
Thri-kreen Ranger/Scout with the Swift Hunter(CS) feat and Martial Study (ToB) can be nice, especially if you can get LA buy-off. I would say that you ought to try and get pounce on there, though. Something like
RHD 2/Barbarian 1/Ranger 4/Scout 3 might work fairly well.
EDIT: Make sure you take Favored Enemy: Constructs, though.
