Yay, more Touhou-themed PrCs. This is more or less working off of Krimm_Blackleaf's unveiled dragon (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87472), though more along the lines of the masked demon. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71073) I fully admit that I will be borrowing abilities from those classes, however I should hopefully be able to make it somewhat unique. :smalltongue:
As such, most of the credit should go to Krimm for making such awesome classes. XD

Maneuvers: At 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th levels, the Drakebound Soul gains new maneuvers known from the Stone Dragon or Tiger Claw disciplines and another discipline based on their dragonsoul essence, as seen on the chart below. They must meet a maneuver's prerequisites to learn it. They add their full Drakebound Soul levels to their initiator level to determine their total initiator level and their highest-level maneuvers known.
At 1st, 5th and 9th levels, they gain additional maneuvers readied per day.

Stances Known: At 3rd and 9th levels, the Drakebound Soul learns a new martial stance from the Stone Dragon or Tiger Claw disciplines (plus the one based on their dragonsoul essence, on the chart above). The must meet the stances prerequisites to learn it.

Dragonsoul Essence (Ex)
At 1st level, the Drakebound Soul's draconic soul awakens, granting them the strength of a dragon despite their bodies. Upon gaining the first level in this class, the Drakebound Soul chooses a dragon type from the list below. This determines the damage type of their breath weapon in the Dragonsoul Stance, and other features they gain through this class.
At 1st level, the Drakebound Soul gains Blindsense 5'. The range of their blindsense increases by 5 feet every level.
At 2nd level, the Drakebound Soul gains an energy resistance or bonus to a certain kind of save, depending on what dragonsoul essence they took. This resistance (or bonus) is equal to their Drakebound Soul level.
At 4th level, the Drakebound Soul gains damage reduction, as detailed in the table below. X is their Drakebound Soul level, and they add any number in that entry on top.

1Typeless damage.
2Three times per encounter, the drakebound soul may choose to inflict 1d4 points of Constitution drain with a claw attack (DC10 + class level + Con mod negates).
3The drakebound soul deals a number of negative levels with their breath attack equal to 1/3rd their class level.

Dragonsoul Stance (Ex)
The center of a Drakebound Soul's abilities, this stance grants them a small degree of draconic power that increases as they gain levels in this class. As a swift action, they may lose the benefits of any stance they're in to gain the benefits granted by this stance. While in this stance, the Drakebound Soul is considered to have the draconic template applied to them, with all the benefits. Additionally, once per encounter, the Drakebound Soul may use a breath attack as if they were a half-dragon of the type of dragon they chose for their dragonsoul essence; however, this attack deals a number of die of damage equal to their initiator level.
This is considered a 3rd-level stance.

Dragonsoul Quality (Ex or Su)
At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th levels, the Drakebound Soul gains a draconic trait from the list below. These abilities only function while in the dragonsoul stance(see above). Once chosen, this ability cannot be changed. Some of the abilities have level or ability requirements before they can be chosen.
Additional Breath (Su): The drakebound soul gains an additional use of their breath attack per encounter. This ability can be taken multiple times.
Breath of Fury (Su): The drakebound soul's breath becomes more devastating; the damage die of their breath weapon increases by one step, and the DC for any effects related to it increase by 2. This ability can only be taken at 5th level or higher.
Claw Enhancement (Ex): The drakebound soul's claw attacks become more lethal, also breaking through magical defenses. The drakebound soul gains a +1 enhancement bonus to their attack and damage rolls with their claws, and the damage increases one step. This ability can be taken multiple times; each additional time, the drakebound soul gains an additional +1 to the enhancement bonus.
Dragon Tail (Ex): The drakebound soul grows a long, prehensile tail which they can use to strike foes with. The drakebound soul gains the tail slap attack of a dragon, dealing 1d8 damage for a medium creature.
Dragon Wings (Ex): The drakebound soul grows a pair of draconic wings. They gain a fly speed equal to their land speed, with average maneuverability. This ability can only be taken at 5th level or higher.
Energy Resistance (Ex): The drakebound soul gains an additional energy resistance type equal to their drakebound soul level. The effects do not stack with existing energy resistance.
Enhanced Ability (Ex): The drakebound soul's physical prowess increases, and they gain a +2 to any physical ability score. This ability can be taken multiple times, applying to the same or a different ability score, at the drakebound soul's choice.
Fast Healing (Ex): The drakebound soul gains fast healing 1, as their skin takes on a darker or shinier appearance. This ability can only be taken at 5th level or higher, and may be taken multiple times.
Frightful Presence (Ex): The drakebound soul gains frightening presence of a dragon. This functions as the dragon special ability, with a Will save DC 10 + Drakebound Soul level + the drakebound soul's Cha mod. This can only be taken at 7th level or higher.
Great Breath (Su): The drakebound soul may mix pure magical energy into their breath attack; half the damage dealt by their breath weapon is now magical damage, with can't be resisted and nothing is immune to. The rest of the damage is the same type as their normal breath weapon. This ability can only be taken at 7th level or higher.
Regeneration (Ex): The drakebound souls' flesh knits together even quicker; this ability replaces their fast healing with an equal amount of regeneration. This regeneration can be overcome with weapons bearing an alignment opposite theirs (if they have an extreme alignment or true neutral, select one alignment), spells with the same alignment, or dragon-bane quality weapons. This ability does not grant the ability to regrow lost limbs but holding severed limbs to the stump automatically reattaches it. They must be 9th level to take this ability and have the Fast Healing dragonsoul quality.
Resist Blows (Ex): The drakebound soul's skin toughens, shrugging off blows with ease. Their existing damage reduction increases by 5. This ability may be taken multiple times, and the effects stack.
Spell Resistance (Ex): The drakebound soul's ability to ignore spells increases; their spell resistance increases by 3. They must possess spell resistance to take this ability, and it may be taken multiple times; the effects stack.
Thickened Scales (Ex):
The drakebound soul's scales thicken, making them more able to deflect blows. They gain a +4 bonus to their natural armor. This ability may be taken multiple times, each time increasing their natural armor by 2.

Drake's Maw Strike (Su)
At 6th level, the Drakebound Soul gains a unique maneuver that allows them to channel their breath attack into a melee strike. This is treated just as a normal martial maneuver: it must be readied and expended normally. As a part of this maneuver, the Drakebound Soul makes a single melee attack. If successful, they do an additional amount of damage equal to their breath weapon damage, with the appropriate energy/effect. This doesn't cost them a use of their breath weapon.
This is considered a 7th-level strike.

Spell Resistance (Ex)
At 8th level, the Drakebound Soul gains spell resistance 10 plus their Drakebound Soul level. If they already possessed spell resistance, their existing spell resistance instead increases by 5.

Wyrm's Wake (Su)
The ultimate technique of Drakebound Souls, this maneuver allows the Drakebound Soul to attack multiple foes with the ferocity and sheer magical power of dragons. This is treated just as a normal martial maneuver: it must be readied and expended normally. As a part of this maneuver, the Drakebound Soul moves up to double their speed, attacking all foes adjacent to their path (as the Desert Tempest maneuver), provoking attacks of opportunity as normal. However, each foe they successfully strike takes an amount of damage equal to half their breath weapon damage. They may only apply this damage to a single foe once.
This is considered a 9th-level maneuver.

Drakebound Perfection (Ex)
At 10th level, the Drakebound Soul's transformation completes itself, transforming them into a powerful half-dragon of the type that they chose at the beginning of this class. The ability score benefits from the draconic template still apply while in their Dragonsoul Stance, and they may have two stances active as long as one of them is Dragonsoul Stance.
Instead of gaining the default breath weapon upon applying the Half-dragon template, the Drakebound Soul gains an additional use of their breath weapon in an encounter.

Ok, I know bumps are usually reserved for 24 hour waits, but I kind of didn't mean to post this before it was done. Which it now is.

Apologies, all.

I like it.
I would prefer if the Manoevers and Stances table showed cumulative gain, for ease of understanding. The BAB does split into multiple attacks (ie: +6/+1, +7/+2, etc.) but no big deal; I am sure that anyone reading this knows well enough to understand how it is supposed to work.
I am surprised that Aura of Fear, or some similar Aura type effect is not in the Dragon Soul Quality list. Regardless, you've done well in taking the FULL power of a dragon and placing it in a smaller package.
Would it not be pertinent to make an alignment pre-req that requires one to share one aspect of their alignment (at least in one sense either Good, Neutral, Evil or Lawful;, Neutral, Chaoric) with their chosen dragon, or be within one step of their chosen dragon's alignment? Or having Draconic as a language would also be a good touch. I don't know if the aforementioned is already incorporated in the pre-reqs for the required fats or not, but those are my suggestions.
Does "Class Skill: Balance"mean that to qualify to take this PrC you have to have had levels in a class that had Balance as a class skill? If so, is there a reason for it, because it seems rather unorthodox.
Overall, I like it. Well done.

Don't do this, it's not how PrC formatting works for ToB. Look at others on these boards.

Again, this is how prestige classes always are. Iteratives are never shown.

Um... There is. Frightful presence.

Eh, it seems a little redundant/superfluous. :smalltongue:

I hate alignment prereqs except in a select few cases. This is not such a case. :smalltongue:

@ Flaming Kobold; thanks for correcting me. I didn't realize that they worked the tables in ToB that way and the ignorance is my own fault.
I didn't catch onto Frightful Presence as skimmed over it, also my bad.
Since those were my only issues, I love the PrC! Good work.

Edit: Wow, I didn't realize how many typos I had in my first post. Jeez!
