Any preference for buff rounds or for any particular arena?

I'd personally prefer to have at least all-day buffs up. I can do with or without buff rounds, but if there are any, I wouldn't want more than four. Most matches end up with three.

all day buffs is fine. and 3 buff rounds works for me. the map doesn't matter to me.

Normally, yes, but I'm requesting that we expand the starting area to anywhere in A or B, or Y and Z for me. I've found that the starting area here is a bit small, and kind of unfairly penalizes stealth builds. Are you okay with that, or do you want to keep it as only in the circles?

If you do not fall after I cast GDM, I cast Spell Theft on you, and you need to show me a list of spell effects on you. You would get to make another spot check.

If you do fall, I may do something different.

You can hover if your maneuverability is Good or Better. Otherwise you fall, but this does not trigger the Streamers. The spell lasts 1 round/level, which can be a while.

I cast Divine Power, then Footsteps of the Divine, then fly up to N4, altitude +25, while drawing my Scythe.

if i can fall without triggering them, whats the range on streamers? if it's 5 feet, then can i fall to right above the water and then cast a targeted greater dispel magic at you, and then a quickened moon bolt?

edit--i have good maneuverability

I'm not sure it's a non-action to fall if you have a choice about it. It would be more like moving downwards. In any case, the Streamers follow you and could still attack you when you take those other actions.

i don't have the book streamers are in, so ok, that sounds like a bad plan.

wings of cover would only prevent one of their attacks, correct? might as well make sure i'm out of options.

It would prevent one attack, but casting it would provoke another attack from all four, so it's counterproductive. The only defenses are high touch AC, spell resistance, or the ability to just eat the damage.

I think it's possible to block them if you use Wings of Cover when I first cast it though, since I'd be unable to get them to target you in the first place. This is kind of unclear in the spell's description though.

Basically Steamers is a broken, poorly written spell.

Would like for me to have used a different attack this time?

i'm fine with you using it. the only experience i have with it is from the one time you used it, and i don't have shining south to actually read the description.

actually, i do have spell resistance 20 from visage of the deity. did you roll against spell resistance?
