Stormspawned

Once every so often, there is a storm unlike any other. A storm of tremendous rage and power, that sweeps the world and causes devastation wherever it travels. On the days of this storm, any child born anywhere has the possibility of becoming stormspawned. Such children are more than their parents, their blood supercharged by the mystical energies in the air the day of their birth.

Winona grew up in awe of the power the gods had granted her and decided she would become a servant of the natural world to repay them.

Combat
Body of Lightning (Su): As a free action, a stormspawned can sheathe its body in crackling static electricity. Opponents that strike a stormspawned in this state with unarmed strikes or natural weapons take 1d6 electricity damage. Additionally, all of a stormspawned creature's natural and manufactured melee weapons also deal this damage. This ability can be used for 8 rounds per day. The duration need not be consecutive.
Spells (Sp): 5/4/3 per day, DC 13 + spell level.
Level 0: Create Water, Cure Minor Wounds (2), Know Direction, Light
Level 1: Cure Light Wounds, Endure Elements, Magic Stone, Obscuring Mist
Level 2: Barkskin, Still Produce Flame, Soften Earth and Stone
Spell-Like abilities (Sp): 3/day- Lesser orb of electricity, wind wall (DC 13). CL 4th.
Voice of Thunder (Ex):As a standard action once per day, a stormspawned creature can let loose a devastating bellow. All other creatures within 30 feet of the stormspawned must make a Fortitude save (DC 13) or be stunned for 1d3 rounds and deafened for 1d4 minutes.
Resist Nature's Lure (Ex): Winona gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like abilities of fey.
Trackless Step (Ex): Winona leaves no trail in natural surroundings and cannot be tracked. She may choose to leave a trail if so desired.
Wild Empathy (Ex): Winona can improve the attitude of an animal or magical beast. She gains a +5 bonus to her roll against animals and a bonus of +1 against magical beasts of Intelligence 1 or 2.
Woodland Stride (Ex): Winona can move through any sort of undergrowth at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. Thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion still affect her.

Stormspawned Creature
“Stormspawned” is an acquired template that can be added to any living, corporeal creature with an Intelligence score of 4 or more (referred to hereafter as the base creature). A stormspawned uses all of the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.
Size and Type: The creature's type changes to outsider and it gains the air subtype. Do not recalculate Hit Dice, base attack bonus, or saves. Size is unchanged.
Speed: The creature's fly speed increases by 10 feet and its maneuverability improves by one step. This does not grant a creature a fly speed if it doesn't already have one.
Armor Class: The creature’s gains a +2 dodge bonus to AC.
Special Attacks: A stormspawned retains all special attacks of the base creature and also gains the following special attacks.

Voice of Thunder (Ex): As a standard action once per day, a stormspawned creature can let loose a devastating bellow. All other creatures within 30 feet of the stormspawned must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + ½ the stormspawned's HD + stormspawned's Cha modifier) or be stunned for 1d3 rounds and deafened for 1d4 minutes.

Spell-like Abilities (Sp): A stormspawned with an Intelligence or Charisma score of 8 or higher has spell-like abilities depending on its Hit Dice, as indicated on the table. The abilities are cumulative and useable once per day unless otherwise noted. Caster level equals the creature's HD, and the save is Charisma-based.

Special Qualities: A stormspawned retains all special qualities of the base creature and also gains the following special qualities.

Darkvision 60ft.

Resistances: A stormspawned has resistance to electricity and sonic 20 (if HD 11 or less) or resistance to electricity and sonic 30 (if HD 12 or more).

Spell resistance equal to the creature's HD + 5 (maximum 25)

Abilities: Increase from the base creature as follows: Str +2, Dex +6, Con +2, Cha +4.
Skills: A stormspawned gains skill points as an outsider and has skill points equal to (8 + Int modifier) x (HD + 3). Do not include Hit Dice from class levels in this calculation- the stormspawned gains outsider skill points only for its racial Hit Dice, and gains the normal amount of skill points for its class levels.
Challenge Rating: HD 6 or less, as the base creature +1; HD 7 to 13, as the base creature +2; HD 14 or more, as the base creature +3.
Level Adjustment: +4
