HTC Droid Incredible

So...I'm thinking about getting a HTC Droid Incredible and thought I would see if anybody out there has any experience with them. I have never had a smart phone before, but all the research I have done seems to indicate that this is a good one. I am going with Version because my company gets a 22% discount on service plans and a 25% discount on accessories. What is your experience with this phone? Heard any stories? Have a friend who has one? I'm looking for whatever information I can get.

I hear good things about Droid, in general. Personally, I'm holding out for the HTC EVO (http://now.sprint.com/evo/). Better resolution, bigger screen, faster processor, better and faster network than the Iphone, how could I resist? I hate touch screen phones, so much so that I've stuck to my military spec Motorola Rengade (http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Product-and-Services/Mobile-Phones/Motorola-Renegade-V950-US-EN), but for Android 2.1 and the amazing hardware, there's just no way I can pass it up.

As for the HTC Droid Incredible (http://www.htc.com/us/products/droid-incredible-verizon?refcd=GO000000103718218s_h_t_c_droid_incre dible&tsacr=GO4860442210&extcid=exc100429brdev1genrgg&gclid=CJCu5ajh1KECFRmjagodhTn6KA#tech-specs), it's a good phone, that also runs the Snapdragon processor and Droid 2.1. I get a discount similar to yours, but with Sprint, so when I get to comparing the specs I know which one I like better. The bottom line is that HTC makes kick-ass phones; personally, I'll hold out for the EVO, but the Droid Incredible doesn't seem half bad.
