Good people of the playground. I'm building a gunslinger for Star Wars Saga Edition, and I need some advice talentwise.

Up until now I am:

A toydarian Scout2/soldier2 with evasion, point blank shot, precise shot, quick draw and rapid shot as feats, and evasion and devastating attack as talents.
Stats are str 12, dex 17, con 14, int 16, wis 12 and cha 13.

I'm thinking of taking 2 more levels of soldier so I can take dual weapon mastery I and II at level 6, and then maybe take another level of scout, or maybe scoundrel, before entering gunslinger at 8.
Only problem is I don't quite know which talents to take at 5 and 7. At 5 I'm thinking Tough as nails, at 7 Long stride, both help me stay alive a bit longer.

Any advice talentwise? Much appreciated!

I always like taking Armored Defense with most of my classes using Soldier. It's just convenient when you have to deal with vacuums and poison gas and radiation but don't want to lose your heroic level to reflex. Depending on if your GM uses the item mods rules, you can customize armor in pretty noticeable ways which may come in handy. But that's just me. It would depend on the character also.

Weapon Specialization would benefit you a god deal since you dual-wield. Definitely do Tough as Nails if you think you're gonna be the one shot at first. How about Jetpack Training? If you plan on getting the Gunslinger Talent where you can autofire with two pistols the talent Improved Supression Fire might be fun.

Why not take another devastating attack or two? Really make those shots count.

Devastating Attack can't stack with itself; if you take it multiple times you have to apply it to different weapon group.

Given you will be dual-wielding, I suggest taking Weapon Focus (pistols) as a feat at somepoint and then picking up Weapon Specialisation (pistols), very useful bump to damage. You are tight on feats however, and Dual Weapon Mastery I is worth it, so I'd suggest you get that and switch DWMII for WF, and pick up DWMII later. This will allow you to buy Weapon Spec. as your soldier talent, highly worthwhile.

As for your scout talent, it really depends what you want to do. Acute senses, while not particularly awesome itself, qualifies for some cool stuff on that talent tree. Given you already picked Evasion, I assume you're going to be facing some level of Area Attacks (autofire weaponry usually), so Blast Back from the Rebellion Era supplement is probably worthwhile.

Only pick up a level of Scoundrel if you play with fractional BAB. You also already picked up Point Blank Shot, so you don't get a feat from Scoundrel unless the GM allows you to pick something from i.e. the Scoindrel's bonus feat list.

Weapon Focus + Weapon Specialization is a very good option. Imo Acute Senses is a solid Scout talent, not only a necessary prerequisite for some other stuff.

I agree with the Weapon Specialization idea for your Soldier level. There's a Scoundrel talent called Opportunistic Shot (I think) which gives you extra attacks of opportunity.

Will add to this when I have books to hand.

I think I´m gonna go weapon focus/spec, and take dwm II at 9. Probably take soldier 5 at lvl 7. Since I'm toydarian armour isn't really an option (I know by RAW I can wear it, but I think it's a bit silly). I'l go with more damage and suppression fire. Make sure things are dead before they kill me.
