The air surrounding you fairly hums with the residue of magic, an aftereffect of the spell that brought you to this place. A quick glance reveals that you are in a small room, devoid of any life save for yourself. The sound of dripping water can be heard faintly, and the stone walls are slick with moisture. In complete defiance of logic, a torch is already lit, resting in a sconce near the room's single door.

There is a door at C-4, south side.

After taking a cursory look around I'll check the door and if nothing else presents itself I'll go through it.

You open the door and step through.
You are standing in an area that's very dark.

So dark, that you'll need a light source or a special vision means to get descriptions. That, or you can try to grope walls.

You're also very confused, as you appear to fail to find yourself, with that roll...

Well, since I somehow managed to be enough of an idiot that I forgot to grab Light as a Sorcerer I guess I'm down to groping walls. I'll keep my left hand on a wall and move left, with my morningstar in my right hand.

... There was a torch in the previous room.

Ishcumbeebeeda

Wow.... I guess sleep is more important than I gave it credit for. I'll take the torch from the first room and cautiously re-enter the second.

The torch casts a glow out, allowing you to see.

You are standing in a corridor. One corridor runs south, and another runs east.

The south corridor has a passage splitting off to the east, 20 feet south of you. Further south, the passage ends 30 feet south of you, with a passage splitting off east and west.

The east corridor has a passage splitting off to the north and south, 10 feet east of you. Further east, you note a door on the north side of the corridor, 30 feet east of you. The passage continues east, beyond the light of the torch.

I'll go down the east corridor, [roll0] to the door and [roll1] at the door.

Passive [roll2] and [roll3] along the way.

10 feet after the intersection, the floor crumbles beneath your feet.

Reflex save, please.

Oh boy, here we go:

You catch the edge, and manage to haul yourself out of the pit. Nothing more of note happens as you head to the door, but you can hear nothing inside.

I'll enter the room and see what new peril awaits me!

Opening the door reveals the following room:

There are doors at A5 south and E1 north.
In the room there is an ugly looking, blue scaled, lizard thing with fire in it's mouth!

He responds with fire.

[roll0] halved on ref save, minimun of 1 bar evasion/resistance.

If you take damage, you're entangled for [roll1] rounds.

Ishcumbeebeeda

Wow, with my first attack roll! [roll0] and if it confirms that's another [roll1] Damage.

EDIT:
Stats:

HP: 9/10
Rebuke attempts: 10/10
Spells/day: 4/4
Entangled for 4 rounds

term1nally s1ck

Not confirmed, sorry.

You take 1 fire damage and you're entangled. Your turn.

Ishcumbeebeeda
2010-05-22, 02:58 PM
I'll burn two of my Rebuke attempts to do [roll0] Damage to all living creatures within 30ft (other than me obviously) and heal the same amount up to my max.

Stats:

HP: 10/10
Rebuke attempts: 8/10
Spells/day: 4/4
Entangled for 3 rounds

term1nally s1ck
2010-05-22, 03:00 PM
He's still up, and takes a full round action to defend himself.

Your entanglement continues to damage you:

[roll0] fire damage.

Ishcumbeebeeda
2010-05-22, 03:12 PM
I'll try to hit him with a Ray of Enfeeblement:
First off, [roll0] against DC 16.
If that works, then here's my [roll1] for [roll2] Strength.

Stats:

HP: 10/10
AC: 15/17
Rebuke attempts: 8/10
Spells/day: 3/4
Entangled for 2 rounds

EDIT: Damn... made the check, failed the attack miserably...

It breaths more fire, and your entanglement continues.

[roll0] reflex halves, min 1.
[roll1] fire damage, no save.

You're lucky my damage dice suck today.

Ishcumbeebeeda
2010-05-23, 06:22 PM
LOL, well that was fast. I'm now at -1, with no way to keep going. Dead as a doornail, lol. I'll try to build a better stickyfire-breathing-lizard trap.:smalltongue:

term1nally s1ck
2010-05-23, 06:31 PM
You can rebuild, retry, or tweak. If you stick to the same race, classes, and base stats, you can tweak the rest.

If you wwant to change one of those 3, you'll need to re-submit.

Ishcumbeebeeda
2010-05-23, 06:33 PM
Yup, I'm planning on making something completely different. Maybe a Dwarf Barbarian/Warlock or some such... IDK, but I'll submit my new guy once I've finished him.
