A finite featureless plane, cut off from the outside world by six impenetrable barriers. Two beings are teleported for combat. Fight.

Given that it is impossible for either of us to fail standard spellcraft checks, I won't even bother concealing my spells.

Initiative: [roll0]

Also, each spends 5 points of inspiration to reduce their damage to 0.

Both Owens simultaneously snap their fingers, and move to the opposite ends of the arena. They then each rise

EDIT: I'm actually dead at this point. Using Cunning dodge does me no good because of the multiple MoCs. Stupid nat 20...

Rematch?

Sure. Lets just keep this thread- I'll start with the same buffs, and lets just say you go first, to avoid rehashing old ground.

Round 1:

The first Owen simply stares at Typhae, her enchantments suddenly buckling. His eyes glow briefly before he moves 15 feet to the right, 5 feet forward, and 25 feet into the air.

The second rises 60 ft into the air, and flicks his fingers upwards twice, sending two pillars of black fire up from the ground, enveloping Typhae.

Effects:

Dispel Psionics/Magic checks:

[roll1]
[roll2]
[roll3]

Typhae takes [roll4] + [roll5] negative levels. It's an area effect with no save. Within 24 hours, at least.

1 Augmented Dispel Psionics used: (10 pp used, 442 remaining)

Targeted Dispel or Area?

Targeted Dispel.

You need to roll your 50% miss chance vs. Greater Blink then.

Also, a lot more rolls than four. Typhae has a bajillion spells up at all times (Currently she has 11 up).

industrious

Right.

50% = half = 1d2. 1 = miss.

5. [roll4]
6. [roll5]

10. [roll9]

It's only one spell, therefore, one miss chance, so I'm going to assume it's just the first roll.
Meaning it misses.

Further, Typhae is fully unaffected by the negative levels, and it has nothing to do with any of her active spells.

She gets through all of that unscathed then. My turn?

industrious
2010-05-19, 03:01 PM
...yeah. Why isn't she affected by the neg. levels?

AmberVael
2010-05-19, 04:01 PM
Soulfire buckler.

Should I even bother with my next round? Even if I get below average rolls I'll be able to get off four maws of chaos that should deal enough damage to kill you...
Just like the first time. >.>

industrious
2010-05-19, 04:24 PM
Yep. That's game. Should have led with a dominate...or four...
