I would recommend putting all your comics into the original post.

And...Is that the Dancing Fox Inn? From The Freeform Roleplaying Games Section?

That takes me back. I remember roleplaying there constantly a while back. I don't think I was very good at it, though, since nobody liked the stories I was a part of. Or my characters. I think I left because people were getting too mean. I don't know what it's like nowadays...

Very interesting comic. I will continue to read more.

Mmmmm....promising comic. Has solid artwork, no immediate textual errors (aside from "Drink" being capitalised in the first strip) and most importantly a slightly saracastic and wry sense of humour. Will add to watch list.

Two ideas for your photobucket problem:
- Cut longer strips into several pages to be released at once
- Check your setting, you can raise the maximum file and pixel size considerably if you haven't already

We don't know how powerful these bandits are. They could be a pretty large number, or part of an organization. And the paladin will probably give most of them the chance to repent, like he did with the Orc.

Is Joel casting something on Will?

Probably Misdirection. It fools divinations, and Detect Evil is a divination spell.

I didn't think he killed the orc either, even after she refused the chance to surrender. Unlike the guy who Will stabbed, the orc didn't have x'ed-out eyes when last seen, just a "Hey, that hurt, you bastard!" expression.

She's posing, after all she is an elf.

He has an energetic personality and kill is a strong word to use. He isn't bound to what says though.

Nevitan, Strip #8 was a good comic -- it revealed more of the personalities of both the characters involved, it cleared up a question from the previous strip, and it established a sense of scale for the cave they're exploring -- there just wasn't all that much that needed saying afterwards, though. Comics that raise mystery spawn lots of speculation, while comics that settle mysteries leave the audience saying, "Ah, so that's how it is."

Both kinds are good, but they won't provoke the same numbers of comments.

You know, spoils of war is actualy how mercenary were paid for a long time, so actualy he'd be pretty much in his right here.

How is the key-word here.

He is obviously being paid by other means (the employer's own income) and as such he do not have the rights to claim anything but that.

The fact that mercenaries are only bound by honour and in some regions, laws is worth considering, though.

But what does it matter? He gets money and the others get to save people, everybody is happy!

Layala's puzzled/annoyed expression in the last frame is the first time I've ever seen her look surprised by anything. Usually (including the beginning of this strip) she's three moves ahead of Will, and calmly tolerates his greed because she's anticipated his actions and figured out how to make them work in her favor...

But he could be even happier if he took more money while the others would still have the same nice warm glow of knowing people are safe*, wich is priceless, hence woth much more than any money the rogue could take.** Hence why he's getting burned in the deal and feels rightfully outraged.
See, it's mathematical, you can't argue with that logic !

Apparently Layala thought everything through, she must really have every little problem - involving the party sticking around indefinitely - covered, huh?

@^^ as for 3.5 school specialization, a specialist Wizard(Joel the Necromancer in this case,) can pick almost any 2 schools of magic he wanted back at lvl1.\
EXCEPT Divination, that's a rule for all wizards.
so, as far as we're concerned, he may have picked anything else,
let's see:
Abjr:uncertain; Cnjr:NO; Div: no; Ench:uncertain; ILsn: NO, obviouly; Tran:NO(Spider climb (http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n365/b_nebb/comics/Unbelievable010.png) row 4); Evoc:debatable(lightning bolt here (http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n365/b_nebb/comics/Unbelievable010.png) is from which caster?)
