Wolfling
Tribal humanoids that resemble wolves, Wolflings are savage hunters and ruthless warriors.

Racial Traits

Ability Scores +2 Strength, +2 Wisdom or Dexterity
Size Medium
Speed 6 squares
Vision Low-light

Languages Common, Choice of one other
Skill Bonuses +2 athletics, +2 stealth
Smell of Blood The Wolfling has a +1 to attacks vs bloodied targets.
Wounded Beast The Wolfling has a +1 to attacks while bloodied.
Hunter's Prey The Wolfling gains the use of the Hunter's Prey power.

Hunter's Prey Wolfling Racial Power
You choose a target to bring down.
Encounter
Minor Action
Effect You choose a target for your Hunter's Prey power, until the end of the encounter or until the target falls you are marked by the target and have a +2 bonus to atacks on the target.

Play a Wolfling if you want:
- To look like a wolf, feel, and act like a humanoid wolf.
- To have versatile abilities.
- To make a good ranger, barbarian, fighter, or avenger.

It feels too powerful, and one dimensional. All of your racial abilities give the same thing, and can stack up to +4 to attack rolls, which is far too much.

Being marked by a monster is poor downside IMO. Monsters don't get the mark punishing abilities that make it a really nasty, and there are easy ways to remove that mark. The Ranger 10 utility Shed the Mark from MP is one example, and I think I remember a skill power that could do it too. On solo fights, or any fight with a clear kill order, it's no penalty at all, and +2 to hit is just too much then. Yet in other cases it could overly punish a class that focuses on multi-target attacks, especially controllers.
