Hey I just moved to Chicago. Being in a new city means looking for a new source for boardgames, source-books, and dice.

Rather than con duct a harrowing Google search where I root through hundreds of Games Stops I figured I'd ask my fellow OOTSers. Where to I go for games in Chi-town?

Depends on where you are:

In Chicago proper:
Black Sun Games (http://blacksungameschicago.com/)
5426 N. Kedzie
Chicago, IL

If you're in the western suburbs like me:
Games Plus (http://www.games-plus.com/)
101 West Prospect Ave
Mount Prospect, IL (this is also right by the Mount Prospect Metra station, so getting here from the city isn't a really big hassle)

Northwest suburbs:
The Game Escape
230 W Virginia #450
Crystal Lake, IL 60014 (this one may be gone by now, I haven't been out there in a long time)

North Suburbs:
Friends Hobby (http://www.davidrjackson.com/FHsite/)
311 W Depot St
Suite G
Antioch, IL 60002 (also can't vouch that this one is still around)

Black Sun and Games Plus are the big two, mostly because so many of our other stores have long since gone the way of the dodo. There are also a few Gamer's Paradise/World's still scattered around. One is in Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL.
