There is a table to your west. There are seven sheets of parchment on the table, six with writing of some sort on them, while the seventh is blank. There is also a red lacquered inkpen resting near the blank sheet, with a note attached to it.

The note says "Would you like to add your own story?"

The pages are covered with dark brown ink, heavily blotched with larger dark brown areas. A Decipher Script check for each blotch may be able to determine more.

Sheet 1: The curtains... they*blotch* so still. They seem so ordinary*blotch* and then it's too late. Be careful.

Sheet 2: Clank... clank... clank... I will hear that awful noise for all eternity.*blotch* and*blotch*

They fall limply as you get away, and you can shift them aside easily with the pole, in most places. As soon as you move the pole away, they fall back into place.

O is a floating glass sphere that occasionally crackles with electricity.
S's are a long shelf with twelve glass vials on it, each a different color.
M is a statue of a robed scholarly looking fellow, standing with one arm extended palm out toward his partner, the F, which is a female version of the same statue. A light blue shard of crystal floats back and forth between the pair's outstretched hands, never quite touching either.
The walls here are the same as in the starting room, dark curtains.

It singes them slightly, but no serious damage. They hang there, slightly blackened.

Anyway...I recover my maneuvers...shift into Child of Shadow Stance.

Move to B9, and use my pole to move the curtain out of the way. Then I'll move through assuming I don't see anything forboding when I look through after moving the curtain.

Damage determines how much HD I can turn...upon further reflection, I guess I didn't have to...but still...:smalltongue:

Edit:

So basically with those rolls, I can turn up to 14HD of undead, the highest HD being 4 higher than my Cleric Level

Same distance north/south as the previous, ending in curtains both sides.

This section is 25' east/west, with a solid wall to the west, and it fled west, through the wall.

Alright, I'll cast the 1 Restoration, Lesser I have (3 round casting time)

Healing [roll0] Wisdom

Then I'll use my pole to pull the curtain back and go back into the previous room.

I'll wait in E9, with a Readied action to Hatchling's Flame if that thing comes through the curtain after me.

(With 3 rounds of casting...that should leave 6 rounds of running left...)

I'll wait 2 minutes to see if it comes through the curtains...

The wall stops at the statues, you can probably reach the statues, and you can easily get past. The other side is also blocked off, though.

Use a wand of Floating Disk, and a Wand of Unseen Servant...

Load all my junk on the disk, and direct my US to grab the bag of firewood.

I'll take the Wand of Nerveskitter in one hand and my longspear in the other.

Then I'll direct the US to pull open the curtains while dragging the firewood and I will walk through the opening into the larger room.

Note that you haven't actually explored all of this yet, but for the sake of my sanity, I'm including it all in one table.

There's a thing south of the central section of curtains.

A mass of constantly shifting metal plates, this creature has the look of a misshapen suit of armor. Crackles of energy spark between the plates, drawing them together or pushing them apart seemingly at random. In its gauntlets it holds a large, two-handed sword.
